I clean the pins and caliper slides on the wire wheel every time I change them. Thin coat of grease before reassembly. I will try your check method after installation. I really think its the massive amounts of mud they get on them at Wayne. Still shouldnt roach them after one ride.

I got the severe duty pads. Supposed to be made for mud and dust riding. I kinda assumed ALL ATV pads would be made for mud and dust riding.

Thats the thing, I barely ever touch the rears. I knew the ebay pads were a short lived solution to a permanent problem, but they didnt even last one ride.

Clean the butterfly on the throttlebody. It gets crusty and let's too much air in. I can get 20+ out of mine, but I tend to drive it with my foot firmly planted on the floor and don't shift till 4k.
