Not everyone, just everyone on OR. It's a 170 horse bike. Don't take it the wrong way, it's a great bike. It handles awesome it's very fast, the Crossplain engine can't be beat. The problem with that is, you're looking for a street bike. Good street bike an R1 does not make. IMO. FZ1 is a good street bike if you ask me, but so is an SV. YRMV.

I'm only an hour away and prefer to camp. Williams campground has very reasonable tent camping rates. Bring a tent and come hang out with the crew.

I agree with topsail. Awesome uncrowded beaches (if you don't stay right in town) very laid back and family friendly. Only one bar that I know of on the island and it sucks. But you can rent a house with an ocean view for much cheaper than OBX or Emerald Isle. We spend days in the ocean and nights drinking daiquiris on the porch. We will be there early in August. Go check out USS North Carolina while you are there. It's pretty cool.

Just got back. It's wet down there. Trails are pure mud which I prefer to dust any day. Not super crowded either. I couldn't ride due to being on call, but got some much needed upgrades done to the camper.
