I think rebuilt the carb a few years ago. It still runs perfect, but uses a little oil. Has since he got it, but I don't remember it smoking. Riding it tomorrow. Ill clean the air filter and probably change the oil.

Black smoke when revved while cold. Uses oil, but not a lot. Gump suspects valve seal. Bike is an 03 of unknown hours. Buddy bought it about 5 years ago and I got it off him. I am sorta concerned that it is too lean causing blow by at the ring but there is no gas in oil. Hell, could be a dirty filter. Runs strong, starts right up and purrs. Maybe I'm just paranoid.

Lol. Mine was pretty built by the PO. I couldn't tell you how much power it had, but it was plenty fast. All I remember is that it had a built Olds 406 motor. The choke wasn't set up right, so it wouldn't start when the temp dropped below 32*, which was perfect.
