This! I used to live my life by this line of thinking. I found several who were a nice balance and some who were very unbalanced, but I also lived by the rule never marry crazy, so I traded crazy and low self esteem for a mean one with a nice butt.

The excursion is definitely bigger and more comfortable with more gear space behind the third row. Not that the OP asked for a suburban comparison, but its what I know.

Definitely better than a gas suburban, but as has been said, good luck finding a clean, low mileage example. A Burb gets 12mpg and can't pull a trailer as comfortably as an excursion which gets, what Matt, 18-20? Definitely a great motor, but they are not without their problems. They have been known to have issues with rusting oil pans that require the engine to be pulled to repair.
