  1. What about a pleated paper filter versus a foam filter. My Virago has a foam filter righ now. I have no idea how old it is, all I do know is that it needs to be cleaned and or replaced. I went to the Pony today and bought a pleated paper filter to replace it with. Will this change the performance any?

  2. what kind of paint did you use for both the base and clear. I need to paint my side covers since they are the wrong color. Colorrite.com has the paint at $34 for an aerosol can, not sure what to use for the clear cote (or even if I need it).

  3. YOU YOUNG PUNKS STAY OUTTA THIS GOD FEARIN' TOWN. DON'T WANT NONE O' YOUR KIND, DON'T NEED NONE O' IT!

    :D

Just kidding. I hardly ever run into anyone even knowing where Radnor is much less growing up here. Yes, I do live in Radnor, we moved here almost four years ago.

It is a nice little parade, if we stay in town that weekend I will be marching with my Son's Cub Scout Den.

The Hog Roast is put on by the volunteer Fire department so all proceeds will go to support them. They usually have a silent auction along with the hog roast and all the trucks and gear there for people to see. Two years ago they had the Med-Flight helicopter there on display.

  4. I find it interesting that many of the speeding violations (ala buxnut) were ORC Code 4511.21D

    http://codes.ohio.gov/orc/4511.21

In my most recent run-in, the code cited was 4511.21C

I dunno if a case can be built upon that (D may just be a subset of C and therefore nothing), but I'll need to look into it.

Both of those were on freeways, issued by staties. 71N by polaris and 77S at mile marker 13. Dont know if that makes a difference in what code they refrence on the ticket

  6. I have a 95 Virago 1100 and these are the bags I bought. They fit tight but they work.

    Are they the best? No.

    Waterproof? No.

    Are they functional? Yes.

I can fit my lunch in one and my rain-gear in the other.

As far as Jafrum.com goes, I bought mine through Amazon for 29.99 on sale last year. The first set I got had a buckle tear off on my first test run when they were empty. I called them up and they sent me a return label and after a week I had another set delivered and they have been rock solid. I do not anticipate them lasting more than three or fours years (but then again I hope to be on a new bike by then as well) but I do feel that they are a decent value.
