I wrote a paper in college on the legalization of marijuana. if it were regulated and taxed the same as tobacco, the national debt could be eradicated in four to five years. There were facts to back this and I found them at that time, but damned if I can find any of that stuff now.

I am glad I was able to make it out for this today. Good turnout as well I think. I didn't know Garrett personally but judging by the number of people that turned out, He touched a lot of lives.

I had a fog city insert for all of last riding season. Worked perfectly. when i went to clean it this year i forgot that it scratches EASILY and ruined it. pealed it off and now I am back to foggin up bad. I want to pick up a new helmet and what ever i decide on getting, it will have the pinlock system. Same principal as the fog city, just easier to replace.

I will try and make it out. Cant say I will be there for sure, it will depend on the workload I get hit with tomorrow morning.

After waking the Vulcan up from it's long winter's nap, I noticed the dust seals on the front forks are cracked. I do not see any fluid so I think the fork seals themselves are ok, it just appears to be the dust seals. It is an '07 with just under 4000 miles. I just bought it in August and dont recall seeing this when I put her in storage in early november. First thing, is this something easy enough for a do it yourselfer? I change my own oil, plugs, and such. Secondly, should I go ahead and replace the seals in the process? Thirdly, would storing the bike in an un-heated barn be the culprit here? Anything else I should check?
Thanks in advance!!

Just a friendly reminder that the state sponsored MSF motorcycle training courses are open for registration starting today.

There are already seats being filled. Get 'em while they are still there!!
I took the BRC course a few years back and it was Well worth it. I took the ERC course last year and it was so so. it rained on us the entire day so that may have had something to do with it too.

Bux nut which scala is it? We have the Q2. It's got Bluetooth, radio and 2-way communication to up to 4people.It's this one: http://www.ohio-riders.com/showthread.php?t=33266
I bought two. The one Buxnut has I never used.
What Casper said. I think its the earliest one they made. I only paired it to my Blackberry and took a few calls. Never tried it with another headset. The website says it is compatible with connecting to others. Not sure if the difference in models would make a difference or not.

Before you drop $50 on that parrot, i have a Scala rider that I will sell for $40. It's only been used a couple times. It works well. Its just not something I want to do while riding. I bought it from Casper for $40 last year. I work in Columbus and live in Radnor. Let me know if you are intested. if you search for it I am sure you can find the thread that talked about it.
FYI I tried to send you a PM but your PM box is full.

20. I love the sense of camaraderie when an entire line of cars team up to prevent a jerk from cutting in at the front. Stay strong, brothers and sisters!
ftw!!!

Anybody else watch the US version of Top Gear on the History channel Sunday night? i watched it on the DVR last night and all I can say is meh. I am a huge fan of the UK version of the show. the camaraderie that James May, Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond have is so much better than these three bozos. The Cobra vs. Viper segment was neat but it was just not what it could have been. the Lambo segment was interesting but there is something missing. I will give it another go for a week or two, but I don’t see this doing anywhere near as well as the original. Anyhow, that’s just my two cents.
Thanks,
Bill

Talked to a bunch of great people on here. Only met one of them in person before.
It was outside of a chinese restaraunt, in the rain, I was buying a headset.
That sounds odd. But on this forum it proabably happens more often than not!

McGee's Old lady slipped those letters from John Teller into someones bag so I am thinking there is at least a little more to find out about what happened to to him and how he got killed. Then there's the IRA giving the club full access to their entire arsenal. Not much but it seems there should be a little more material there. That's in addition to the stuff that Fonzie brought up. There's gotta be something since they signed for another season next year.

Pellet stoves can be direct vented as well. I used one 3 foot section of pipe straight out the back with an end cap that directs the fumes out and down at about 45 degrees. as long as you dont have any combustables within 30 inches (I think thats the minimum) mine is about 36 inches from the outlet to the ground, you should be fine. find a local pellet stove dealer in your area (I would avoid the TSCs, Home Depots, etc) and ask as many questions as you can. I researched and visited several dealers in columbus before making my final descision. www.hearth.com has a forum section dedicated to pellet burners, but as with any online forum, there are tons of people that like to help and a few asshats as well. your mileage may vary.

My neighbor has this exact model. He has his in his garage. he likes it but he is always busting his hump cutting, splittlng and stacking wood year round. I did that as a kid for my parents and always told myself I wouldnt do it again when I had my own house.
I replaced a direct vent propane drain (AKA gas log set) with a pellet burner insert 2 years ago and love it. dump a bag of pellets in in the morning and that usually lats all day. heats the house and its easy to maintain.
