Yes, powder coating is the way to go. Rattle can is just not as durable.

 

my last paint job latest over a year with no paint chipping nothing. only paint flaw was a chip where my lug nut tool broke off the nut an took a chunk of rim with it.

He's going to be there, I may wing by if I have time.

yea mine are rattle canned as well i just re did them a few weeks ago after having the last paint last over a year . but this time it didnt turn out too well so ill have them powerdercoated when i get some time/money

35,000 lol. I keep this car very clean. Hasnt seen rain for 4 years between me and the previous owner. I only have washed it once and that was when it got wet sanded to get rid of the GM orange peel. And it just did my undercarriage a couple weeks ago so those are newer pictures.

 

Thanks for the offers on the track rentals and such but im not a big dragway person. I can tell you right now I suck at trying it lol. Going from a AWD car to this again has screwed me up so I was trying to get back into it but nope cant yet lol. You guys have an awesome track Nationals Trails I actually ran my fastest time in my other Transam I had before my Evolution 8 down there.

you guys need to learn is there is goign to be 200+cars there easily. so they open the gates at 430 an run at 5. if you get to the gates before they open like say 345 your one of the first cars in line. so they open up the gates you go tech in first an quickly(cause u were first in line being early) an oh wow they start runnign people an you run first... an as the next 150+cars get teched in your able to hot lap an making 5+ passes in a 40 minuite window, while every one is gettin teched in( as it takes the teches about 3 minuites per dam car). i used to do this every wednesfday an friday when i went in 2007 an i coudl easily get 10+ passes in each time i went while most that got there at 5 or 530 woudl onyl get 3 mabeyyy 4.just a thought for you guys for the next time you all want to go out there.
