Steve's just coming out because fuller and I did more laps on the mower than he ran round 1.
And you probably mowed over a better surface yesterday than you raced on in round 1. I expect the grass and track will be in much better shape this weekend, no?
Yadik.

I am coming up to hang out/help Todd with whatever Saturday, and running the 1st 600 and the 20 on Sunday. Might come up Friday after work as well, but that depends on how this work week ends.
-
Maybe now Steve can do more than 2 laps.
Are frozen dicks on your diet? Cuz you can eat a bag of 'em.

A race school student gave you shit? Did he end up getting a license, because this is a pretty simple fucking idea. You don't wait until you reach pit in to signal that you are leaving the track. Watched a dude do exactly that at Putnam right in front of Wayne at the end of the the 20. I was behind Wayne and he wasn't too thrilled about it. At my first track day with MS I waited a corner too late for Ray's liking to signal my track exit and he let me know about it, and it has stuck with me since. Didn't matter what I thought was the right time to signal if the guy behind me thought is was too late.

The immediate family on my side all have May birthdays (me - 3rd, mom - 18th, dad - 19th, and little sister - 27th). So we always hold a joint birthday party and cookout on Memorial Day weekend, rotating hosting it among the guests of honor. This year it is at our place so we are cooking out this afternoon and firing up the fire pit with family and friends tonight. Tomorrow we will rest easy and relax before heading back to the grind Tuesday. I am taking a break from some last minute yard details then planning on cracking open a well deserved brew and waiting for guests to arrive.
Hope everyone has as much fun as we plan to this weekend! And we'll also raise a toast in honor of those that paid the ultimate sacrifice so the rest of us didn't have to.

Chuck, I will sell you mine.

I had a blast with the gang this weekend despite being well off any form of a competitive pace. My body position was an abortion all weekend. Still, as my first trip to Putnam went I really enjoyed the track! Looking forward to another trip there for sure!
-
Family obligations that weekend, plus there will be many do-lars spent at Putnam. But would love some PIRC time for sure otherwise!

Todd's in an unenviable position right now, but likely doing all he can at the moment. I certainly have no heartache with him, just Nelsons mis-management.
-
I bet he is. Was gonna give him a few days before reaching out.
-
Craig I would (obviously based on my decision to pull out) be happy to help on that conversation, and help Todd have other conversations as well.

Any of the gang here have a spare set of warmers I can borrow? Mine are in a particular silver trailer in southern Ohio.

nelson ledges bitches......nelson fucking ledges
The fucking Nelson Ledges wine mixer!

I was planning on doing something to track stuff this year. I have a POS laptop that I was planning to employ for it.

I just dropped a batch to this thread. So full of win.

My bike is on stands waiting for the weekend. Borrowing Kevypoo's pop's trailer this round and loading that up Friday. Rains to get just in case, and gas up. Did the usual pre-season clean and prep this last week. Stoked to run rain or shine, and still probably slow as shit, lol.

got my exhaust patched up...doesn't look the greatest, but it gets the job done.
It can't be any worse than the midget can I had on mine originally. Ask Kev about hearing that thing in his face coming out of the carousel at Nelson.

I may be a Devils' fan, but I am genuinely thrilled for the fun the Blue Jackets and the CBus fans are having. And this series with Pittsburgh has been incredibly entertaining. Hoping the Jackets make it to the Cup Finals and win it! And anytime you can end the season of a team from Pittsburgh, I am all for it!

And I use them for interwebz delivery as I refuse to do business with Time Warner.

Windstream is who I am forced to use for DSL. It is expensive I think for what I get ($79 after taxes for 12 Mb) but I have had only one outage in 10+ years of service. Their customer service is excellent, though again I haven't had to use them often. But with DSL comes the ebb and flow of speed. Depending on his needs YMMV. As a telecommuter for IT often, I would appreciate a faster product.

I am in for a Saturday track day shakedown, then the 600s and mini 20. And since my birthday is the 3rd, I will be up for some Saturday evening debauchery.
-
Awesome of you to post this Ben! I know enough Linux to be dangerous, if not less. I think I will take this.
-
Aww...the Cbus types have techy butt hurt. It's okay. Those of us that will likely fall just outside of what AT&T considers the CLE metro area will be with you central staters.

Well done! Congrats on the new steed!
MotoSeries 6-28,29 the return to PIRC!

I will be signing up tomorrow. Probably both 600s and the 20, plus the track day. And we'll just have to see about who comes in last.
