I'm out for round 1 and probably round 2.  I guess 4 weeks isn't enough time to get suspension serviced.  Seems that it takes several weeks to get springs and week to get the cap extenders.  Oh well, guess I'll just have more time to get the new toy hauler prep'd.

I'm not slagging the Marine Corps. I have a family member that didn't do well in school. He was a "D" student, on his best day. Nice guy, just not very sharp. After graduation, he joined the Marines and he absolutely loved it. He did very well and was quite satisfied with life. Now, take the average smart kid, put him in a class full of my mouth-breathing cousins, and watch his grades drop. Sure, my cousin looks like he's doing "average", because the smart kids are now being held to a lower standard. Great. Now what? Well, after graduation, you have a classroom full of kids not prepared for college, instead of just my LD cousin.

Our friend Butters here was simply indoctrinating you to our forum, FS style. It's (probably) all in jest. SO grin, bear it, and roll with the punches. Or use Cycle Trader. Your choice. 

All that said, those are fun, comfy bikes to ride. Been on a couple, and they are solid.

Sorry to hear about this, man. You and the family are in our thoughts for sure.

For the love of Christ just don't get an HP. And you might luck out on some Win8 machines as they have an option to downgrade to Win7. But I can tell you from test driving a machine with 8.1 that you can make a couple settings alterations and get it to function closer to 7 than metro mode.

When I was a FL resident and made the annual trip to Daytona for Bike Week, it was just as much fun for me to see the Friday night Grand National race as it was the 200. Me and about 20 friends would all stand along the top section of the south grandstands and bet on the heats and then the final. Saw some great racing! Would wander the pits and see the families there all doing their racing thing. One of the reasons I enjoy my little bit of racing now with my family in tow. Flat track is a blast, and I might try and take this in! Thanks for the link!

What are the specs on it? I have a buddy looking for something light and cheap. This might fill the bill.

After tiptoeing into last year with the 750GT, I plan to run 600 sprints this year, and the mini 20s. Time to find someone at my skill level and be rabbits for each other. Not gonna get faster any other way.

In my street application it did have value. I ran it in my RC51, which was notorious for running hot thanks to an incredibly retarded radiator configuration. Saw a several degree temperature difference, though in the grand scheme of things I still got baked thighs thanks to the aforementioned radiator location. But the bike did in fact run cooler with it.
