  1. I have done it on my own table, and it is easy. Just take your time. For me, it was well worth the savings. In fact, just recently I called a local place that does them here in CLE, and for them to come out and replace the felt, it was over $400 including the felt. The same piece of felt I can get online for about $125. Just be sure to use the proper tools, be patient, and you'll do fine. I have a document on my PC at home that outlines the process pretty well. When I get home I can post it up or email it to you if you PM me your address. The biggest thing though is if you have a dead rail. You may want a pro to reseat them, or replace them if need be. That can be pricey, but you don't wanna put good felt over bad rails.

  2. lol, Herrin's gone now

True. He can just undercut guys in Moto2 a la  Dani Pedrouchebag and Marquez. That sort of thing is encouraged across the pond.

But I am a HUGE Eslick fan. Glad to see him hooked up with the RD guys. Nathan needs to get some of my shit signed on my next order. :D

  3. I am wearing triple knee protection this spring so that I might make more than 2-3 weekends. And since last year one of the two kids had an appendectomy, my chances increased by 50% to not have that happen again!  :burnout:

  4. This school was my first track day back in '97, and I have been looking forward to going back as my skills have advanced. Kinda glad I missed this one.

A good friend of mine was shortly behind the accident described here. He had been lobbying for me and r1crusher to come down for this event, but it wasn't feasible. Sad to hear of this. Again we are reminded thst the sport we love so much comes with risk. But life is not safe no matter what game you play. Godspeed to the fallen riders. Glad my friend is ok. Had he been one corner ahead, he would have had a front row seat. Or worse perhaps.

  5. They let 40 go from a division up here where my Mrs. works. Her team is as safe as one could, be, we guess, but then again no one ever really is. She has a pretty unique job, and she too said that some of the folks that are getting let go are transitioning into different roles. I know more about Chase that I probably care to. I also know enough that the wife and I both use credit unions.

  6. I have had one since Christmas last year and have had zero problems with it. I think a lot of the issues with GoPros has been overblown. Do run any firmware updates, and don't skimp on your memory card. Get the extreme pro. Some lower end cards have difficulty handling very hi res stuff at 30 fps.

Congrats on the forthcoming nuptials, and happy honeymooning!

  7. Can't lie, LOVED the first one.  Was watching my nieces with my wife one night and we watched this.  Can't wait to get them for Luke and take him to like Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs 25 when he;s older.

The fact that the monkey's name is Steve has my kids talking to me like he does with the headband. We are looking forward to that night out as a fam.

  8. Ryan is right. Lots of guys had rides in the crash truck...or worse. Saw more red flags than the Russian Olympic team. Hope the guys that got hurt all heal up soon, and completely. Though my last race ended sooner than I planned, I was happy to not only break the 1:10 barrier, but get some :09s while turning the throttle in anger. Not a fast guy yet, but getting better, and that was my goal. So overall I am happy with the weekend. It was GREAT hanging with the OR gang, and I was double blessed today to have a bunch of family at the track to support me and the guys. This was my last run of the season, so it went out an a solid note. Just can't wait to be 100% healthy again. Ryan, congrats on the MS bling, and to the rest of the knuckleheads - Matt, Craigypoo, Jinu, Brandon, Kev - you guys are faster every time I watch you. Plenty of motivation to try and get on the OR train!
