1. This is my toy.
2. +1k Today's secret word is 'subrogate'. Fonz, thanks for the 411 here, and truly glad to hear the family is physically ok, and I am sure emotionally on the mend. Kudos to all the fine folks who stood up to help out. I am sure karma will come about for them and shine on them, as it has upon your family. You guys are obviously living right. Will be thinking about all of you. On a side karma note, methinks I am phucked.
3. Um, Suzook enginerd. My '97 Gixxer was 17mm, and I had that bike when you were in daycare. If you would just go buy tools from the Craftsman hardware or Home Depot rather than HSN, you'd have what you need.
4. Did they order penis pumps with their bogus stickers too? If yer gonna tout your gear as more than it is, might as well go the full monty.
5. With Kev. I luv me some JRMMiii, but mechanically, he would fuck up an anvil with a rubber mallet.
6. If I had a dime for every time I shook my head after taking a bad mine or not 'doing it right', my track day would have been free. And I agree with r1, its comforting to know that we're not alone. @Brian - good tip on the segment work. I found myself too many times throughout the day trying to decide how to attack all the things out there, and sometimes felt like it was too much to do in just one session for the whole track. Good advice for my next trip.
7. Venison Revenge starring Kirstie Alley as the purple-shirted deer doormat, and Ted Nugent as the buck wrestling piss drinker. Coming in IMAX 3-D to a theater near you!!
8. sweet. so the truck is down on power, but your flux capacitor is working fine. that's good, 'cause they're expensive as shit! nice looking pick up!
9. You took pictures of these tomorrow already?
10. Right there with you. I need to get off of the bike a lot more. And that old dude is fast as shit too, from the two STT days I have seen. He gets around on the SM like its on rails. Maybe the other STT coaches here can confirm or deny it, as they see him all the time. But he impresses me both on the track andtalking to him off of it.
11. Pedo Panda at it again http://www.photoreflect.com/store/Orderpage.aspx?pi=0NXQ003A030063&po=63&pc=77
12. Hawt! Love old school bikes.
13. I so have to work on getting off the bike, too.
14. dude! got the pics, and those are great, though I look even slower than I thought. thanks again!!

15. Yep. And at lean, the combination of even a couple of the most minute aspects would lead to that. I was watching the top of his fork tubes, and they just look like they would have had the wheel out of position to handle the dip. But it hapens so fast, its so hard to tell. I had a number of suspension upsets over the course of the day, and each was slightly different than the others. Hob's a good one, and shit like this happens to the guys who get paid on Sundays. I am sure mine is coming someday too, and I hope that like Hoblick, I'm there to tell the story the next day.
16. Well lookie here! I was the one in full view of the ass smackin', since apparently mine wasn't moving enough. (My ex would probably say the same thing, but then again, that's why she's the ex.) Anyway, great to see you here. I learned a LOT from you yesterday, and can't wait to get back out on the track and put it to good use.
17. and that was one reason i wanted to work on my lines. i know that when they got bad, i was blocking folks, and i hate to have done that. i needed to be more cognizant of that in the environment i was in yesterday and found spots to give up the line. my bad.
18. I watched it a few times over myself, and it looks like you met the dip after just crossing that inside seam, and the seam seem to upset the front end ever so slightly. seemed like you had decent speed through there, but if the suspension unloaded across the seam then you got to the dip, your contact patch would have been gone. but I am only guessing from the view atop your tank. i am just glad you're ok.
19. Fixed that for ya. You know I meant to tell you that your leathers, while fitting fit and snugly, do a nice job of concelaing your tampon string.
20. thanks man. i was working on my lines all day long and I would string together 2,3 maybe 4 laps, then blow a line and it would cost me the next corner. then again, that's why I was out there, to learn. its cool though to see your mates getting better as the day goes on. i saw plently of that myself with a lot of our guys there. coot, i get all about the pushing. i pushed myself in a couple places that i should have done better in, and thankfully had room to recover. had i made those mistakes elsewhere on the track, i probably would not have been as fortunate.
21. i thought the instructors were great, the ones that I spoke to. this is my second STT event and will do more with them. just hope I don't have to travel too awful far.mid oh would still be nice.
22. yeah, intermediate had a freight train look to turn 1 a lot. novice was a bit thick in spots to, which always ended up being 11, so we lost some good opportunity to work on entering and exiting that corner well. but i guess that's nitpicking. still had a great time, though that had a lot to do with our OR gang there. still feel shitty for cooter as I saw him sitting there in the session knowing that probably happened behind me somewhere.
