  1. Its why we have Vegas. And laws governing when you can enter this industry. But yes, I approve of the style. My name is RVTPilot, and I approve this message.
  2. To a degree, you're right, and it makes a good point as to why its even more repulsive what these parents do. You are correct these girls don't know. But the parents do, and in knowing so should have more respect for their daughters and themselves by allowing their girls to have the fun you're supposed to have at that age instead of being made a spectacle of and exploited. And to your point about flexibility, when the age is appropriate, hell yes!
  3. I have a daughter, and if her mother and I weren't already separated and she signed her up for that I would take her mother, buy her a new house just to take her there and throw her the fuck out of it. I remember getting into an argument with a woman that I worked with a couple years ago over this because her granddaugher was in some pagent at the age of 2, and dolled up horribly. Two year olds are supposed to be covered in cookie crumbs and kool-aid moustaches, not Maybeline. And to MJ's point, one producing a child does not provide one with the ability and means to raise it. I am in your corner hon. You are required to pass a test and be licenesed to drive a car, catch a fish, get married, and carry a gun. But to add to the gene pool, you simply need the backseat of a Buick.
  4. A cop shot an unarmed man in the back. Even under the suspicion that the kid might have been armed, there is no justification for the cop's actions. Even if the fucker doens't spend the rest of his life in prison, he shouldn't be allowed to own so much as a pistol grip hose nozzle. And his trigger fingers should be cut off of both hands.
  5. If...and I am SO not going to volunteer anything that might advocate a domestic dispute between anyone she would volunteer to do so, I will pack the gear. My ex was that cool when I went to rr school at Daytona in '97. She went and kept my gas tank filled, cleaned my lid and visor when I was in class, and made burger runs for me and the boys. It made the day a ton better!
  6. If that's the case, then we may do the same. Wasn't sure exactly how regimented the schedule is, so thanks for the info. That would kinda lighten the load.
  7. Not to derail the current conversation, but r1crusher and I were wondering about the lunch situation there, and decided to bring a Coleman Grill2Go with plenty of propane. So as the owner, I am offering up the use of it to anyone who decided to bring their own chow. We're doing simple hot dogs or burgers, but if you want to bring your own food and cook your own food, the use of my grill is free. He and I are both running in the novice class, so anyone running at the same time is welcome to come grub up when we do. If there are riders that are in the other classes and want to use it, get a hold of us sometime Sunday morning and you can come over to where we're set up.
  8. awesome pup! i will be looking for a mastiff at the end of this summer. congrats on the new addition and best of luck as you keep working on!
  9. Welcome fellow rider from the LC!
  10. Its mostly leftover stock that HOV couldn't move before the doors closed. Still, there are some really good deals to be had there. I picked up a new gel cell battery for the RC for $44 w/tax. Anywhere else its $75-80. TONS of Scorpion lids, good bit of Vegas too. A handfull of nice jackets left, some stunna gloves, and wetsuits for PWC. Those are going for stupid cheap, if you know anyone into PWC.
  11. True, I'll give ya that. And a quick glance through the police blotter in the local paper that comes once every 3 or 4 months is good for a laugh. Sometimes, it kinda justifies what the steward has to deal with 'round here.
  12. This is easily the funniest thing I have seen in a while. Guess I need to get out more. And FWIW, doesn't the kid look a little like Dub'yah? Just sayin'.
  13. Being a resident of the fine city of North Ridgetucky, the local law enforemcent has at times been a tad overzealous in their efforts to protect and server. But I will say that when I had my accident, they were great with me and my family. But these claimes here are not unfounded, or unfortuantely inaccurate by any stretch from what mine eyes have seen.
  14. That's a goddamn steal! Nice pickup. I have ridden one of them through Deals Gap. One of the most comfortable bikes I have ever been on. A 600 version of the VFR kinda.
  15. +1 I have no idea who that might be, and that's my neck of the woods.

  17. Thanks for the birthday wishes, mang!!

  18. Sunday, May 16th. If you sing up now, supposedly its $115, rather than the $100 it was up until the 1st. But I have called and left a VM to sign Kev and I up, and I called when it was still $100. Ether way, $115 still isn't bad. We're going up the night before and getting a room. Don't feel like driving 4 hours, riding all day, and then driving back.
  19. I know. And this issue is frustrating the shit out of me. Some days, it doesn't happen at all. Some days, it happens all the time. Speaking of riding this year, Kev's old man picked up a new trailer big enough for the 3 of us to run up to GingerMan with. So he's down with trailering up in the SS and splitting gas. You in?
  20. I have been working to resolve a bothersome hesitation issue with the 51 at idle. After much work (and NO responses, even smart-assed ones, to my previous thread on this issue) I believe I have it narrowd down to my ignition control unit circuit. I have read out all of the wires, and can't find a short (yet) but since its on the side I was hit on 2 years ago and have had the issue since I got it back together after that, I figured there's a good chance its goobered up inside. Any other input from a fellow twin owner?
  21. working on the 51 hopefully with r1crusher. swing by if you're out.
  22. I think I am going to the PETA headquarters in blackface and pretend to be an African who's family has been trampled by elephants trampling villages on the Sahara. And God help the stupid bitch that shows up at my kids' school in costume and starts nuzzling up to them to push her political agenda. Those bandages won't have fake blood on them at the end of the day.
