I think it might be a hose, because when I actually look at the radiator I don't see any leakage. I thought it might be the reservoir leaking, but that was just fine. Unfortunately I don't have a lift to see under the vehicle. The member Clifford Automotive, does anyone know if he does auto work, or is he like a dealer or something? Thanks for the replies so far

My wife's 99 Camry is leaking coolant from somewhere and I need to have it checked. Since I am out of work I don't think it would be in my best interest to take it to a dealership. Does anyone have any recommendations for mechanics in the Dublin area. Or does anyone here specialize in cooling systems, or just general auto tech. Any help is appreciated. Unfortunately you are right. One of the dealers I worked with sent me a picture of a Jeep that was brought into their sister dealership. The driver hit a mattress on the highway, and didn't see it in their rear view mirror. Then their vehicle mysteriously started to drive much slower. When they took it to the dealership, all of the mattress coils were wrapped around the drive shaft. Fuckin' people. Or how about the MINI customer who purchased a brand new MINI, took it home on the highway, hit a mattress and kept on going. Her car then caught on fire and burned to a pile of metal on the side of the road.

That is exactly the type of shit I had to deal with on a DAILY BASIS! People being so stupid, but then wanting BMW to pick up the tab for the repairs. I could sit and tell so many stories of people just like this, if not WORSE. This dude deserves whatever he gets out of this. There is absolutely no excuse for this. BMW customers with an active maintenance plan can get an oil change once per calendar year or every 15K miles, which ever comes first. You know what, why do I even give a shit what happens. BMW laid me off, I hope they pay to fix this guys shit. In fact, I think I might get on the website and maybe I could give this guy some advice on how to work the system.

My camera has like a 170 degree viewing field, so you can see quite a bit.

I got a wide angle infrared camera and 3 inch LCD monitor on eBay for like $75 bucks. I took my mirrors off, and just use the cam and monitor.

Because BMW is retarded. They help people that don't deserve it, and forget people who really could use help. There is no rhyme or reason as to who gets what, or who does and or doesn't get help. That is the one thing about that job that I don't miss at all.

When I was still working, I had a BMW customer who locked his keys in his car for the 3rd time, so he just drilled out his lock cylinder to get into the car. BMW picked up the tab to replace his lock cylinder the first two times, but he got pissed when we wouldn't cover the cost a third time. How do people seriously think ideas like these are the best and/or on thing they can do?
