  1. I would rather hit 1 than the 10,000 little ones I ride thru daily.
  2. :violin:Mid Ohio tickets are a good way to say sorry,,,,,,,,,,,,,
  3. A late happy birthday to you, and I rode to IP today and got you a can of something even though I wasn't invited to the party. Bike back together yet (need help?)
  4. Or maybe a Honda this time, I like new toys. And if I keep posting like this I'll be able to advertise my 09 R1 with 4,000 miles on it. 50 posts??
  5. :grin:LESS HEAT!!!! but on the other hand I'm starting to like riding standing up.
  6. OK , done that, now where are the Suzuki demo rides. ( anyone interested in a slightly used R1? )
  7. 1. Correct riding position. 2. I use a throttle lock (cruise). You can still turn the throttle to idle even when locked. You can ride with both hands, one hand, or no hands. 90% of NORMAL! riding can actually be done with no hands if you wanted to. If you purchase a bike with a heater (like I did) it's a must. You have to stand up to cool down.

    Tires quick

If you can't find them on here and your local shops can't or won't get them. (or too expensive) Then sales@atvtireking.com delivered some in 3 days. They say they will beat any other pricing. I got BT-016 Motorcycle tires. (1) 120/70ZR-17 and (1) 190/55ZR-17

I'll be out, no planned route. Any interest???? Coshocton, Mt Vernon, Zanesville, Newark, Cambridge, New Phil, Columbus. Have bike will travel.
  12. ride tom, you in,,,, pony???????

  13. I did call a bunch more, Pony (drove here), HNW, etc. I only went to dealers with in stock bikes that wanted to deal. I wanted to do a same day walk in ride away. When working with dealers I did find the easiest way was to work with one number. I gave them my tax rate and told them to only give me one number THE FINAL OTD PRICE. As far as service if its not a warranty repair I do it myself. I have purchased several totaled bikes and rebuilt them myself. Not a bad way to go but you need to know what your doing (mechanical background). Buy direct from the insurance company. A 08/ 09 1k should run around $1,000. If your not careful buying parts you'll end up with more in it than its worth. Usually replaced parts are plastics, forks, rims, bars, cables, radiator. You want min a good frame and engine. And keep in mind when you go to resell, who wants a rebuilt but they make great track bikes.
