I guess when I get down there again this summer, I'll just park in the turning lane out in the middle of the road & 2 encampments, so as not to alienate myself from one group or the other, before I even get to meet anyone

DOT & SNELL 2005 rated, plenty of padding that can be removed for wash, several vents, antifog quick release shield with detachable nose piece, sharp lookin' with plenty of color options. Quality helmet for a value price. Sometimes I do......Sometimes I don't. Generally has to be a longer ride, or I don't find it's worth messing with for me. Have a 40 gig Zen with about 2,500 songs on her, so I just put it on shuffle & listen to my own satellite station.......WFONZ!!

Can you register for several different ones/days to cover your bases, or do they put you in a statewide computer system that shows you've already registered for one at another location, & won't allow anymore?

Dude......Can't you just find out what day the bigger towns offer it, and ride there to take it unscheduled? IIRC.......ours does it on certain days of the week. You just show up & get in line/wait your turn.....and we're only a town population of ~ 40,000. You're over by Akron/Canton/Cleveland/Youngstown....right? That way you quit wasting your vacay days, and maybe you could still get it in this week, so you can go with us Saturday

Got in a good training ride today.......Just shy of 300 miles down to a buddy's south of Dayton, plus a little sidetrip on the way home. Saw an extended forecast tonight out of Toledo for Saturday......So far we're lookin' good with mostly sunny & high 83
