  1. so would you rather have soft grips or hard grips?
  2. i just landed a deal for brand new woodcraft clip ons for 60 bucks including spare bars... which leads me to wanting new grips. i've always had my eye on driven superbike diamond grips. but i also see a lot of people with renthal grips. what do you have and how soft/hard is it and do you like it? i almost feel like this is just going to be an personal preference and there is no one that is better than the other.
  3. sounds like he's heading down the colorful rainbow path.
  4. i read about BP gas in a magazine when i was six.
  5. giant eagle fuel perks FTW. i just filled up for 10 cents. no that ain't no typo foo' and it goes right back into my food perks too. giant eagle has the figured out the theory of the universe.
  6. im sending my stuff to reuben this winter. he's a nice guy and all around very helpful. his prices are cheaper than most that i researched. and the ones that were cheaper were either too far away that shipping costs would offset his, or they didn't have a good reputation.
  7. nothing that makes me or anyone else cringe. if there is, its nothing a little dryer sheet won't fix. your more than welcome to try them on. i know i wear between a 10 and 10.5 (depending on the manufacturer) and these are comfortable for me. just PM me and i can work you into my schedule. it has to be before friday though or wait til i get back in january. no rush though right? i mean its snowing outside...
  8. yes i do. still for sale. just been super busy with school. ill get some pics up later and really push the sale in a week.
  9. i got your info off of your vcard in your o-r profile. your full name is in your email. i would recommending changing that. edit: i reread that and it sounded a little stalkerish... please know that im not the kind of person to break into a stranger's house.
  10. yes they do. sportbiketracktime.com calendar won't be out til probably at least first of the year. and they have a new track opening up in your neck of the woods. kentucky bluegrass. look it up. you'll like it. its cheaper than getting a speeding tickets from those so called nasty popo...
  11. what are you talking about? that game was back on Sept 6th.
  12. i just rummage through formula buckeye's scrap metal.
  13. you want to talk to some people that REALLY know what they are talking about? give the guys at sportbiketrackgear.com a call and they will guide you to your tire choice. even though they are michelin suppliers i have found they aren't biased and work to figure the best tire for you. although most of the time its the michelin... o and about that burnout thing... just be careful. don't ask how i know.
  14. straight from the horses mouth. STT GUY is Monte. Less than Mid-Ohio for sure.
  15. you could also sell the damper to me ill take it...for the right price... good luck with your sale!
  16. i used to be a michelin fan. still am somewhat. but for some reason, their lack in mogoGP has turned me off... i will be trying some bridgestone's 002 take offs next time around. and right now im at the point where im considering getting a second set of wheels for my commuting and my tracking. the pilot power rear usually last one season and the front has lasted me two (although its definitely time to replace it). Pilot Power: rain--fine and really fun (by fun i don't mean scary but easy to control when things don't go to plan) longevity-- rear (one season) front (two seasons) i would go so far as to add the PP2ct's would last the same amount of time even though they have a softer side. we really don't use it as much, unless you decide to go all track. but for what i know you WANT to do (hocking) go with the PP's (or PP2ct's), M3's, or any of the other equivalents. you'll be a lot more confident and you'll have more fun. honestly throw a 3 sided quarter in the air and whatever it lands on is your choice. just as it was said above, everyone will say something different as to why or why they don't like them. /endthread
  17. i heard from the rumor mill from he said she said that it was going to be much cheaper than mid ohio. definitely cheaper that much is for sure.
  18. the price will no doubt overcome the convenience...
  19. go by chest size, not waist size, for suits.
  20. be a little more specific on too big. different companies have different cuts of suits (ie joe rocket more room in the stomach, a star broader shoulders etc -- this may not be right but you get the idea) when you tried on a suit what manuf was it and what size? was it too big in your chest, stomach, too long in your arms/legs? give some more details and we on here should be able to point you in the right direction. also give sportbiketrackgear.com a call tomorrow and they are EXTREMELY helpful with this kind of thing. 1-888-784-4327
  21. well this may be the last post for a while on this thread. mostly just cleaned up the garage so i didn't have the frame and stands sitting right in front of our garage door. getting ready for thanksgiving break, finals at OSU, and a long christmas break where i won't be at my apartment. the next post of progress will probably be in mid january... of course i will still post here if i have any questions along the way. my basket of electronics, hoses, and misc bolts and ties: fixed the way the engine was sitting, more level with less stress on the left side. this should last til after thanksgiving break when i can bring back a sturdier engine crate out of 2x4's. all cleaned up and out of the way. also plugged up the openings, such as engine inlets, exhaust, carb fuel and air in/outlets, as well as the airbox. dont want any bugs getting in there while im gone.
  22. myspace is for pedophiles. facebook is where its at welcome!
  23. i have seen some reports that icon isn't really top notch. looks kinda cool but aren't really that great in the safety dept (this has probably changed since i first saw them a few years ago but ill try and find them.) id go with agv. but thats just me. how small are you? i consider myself to be pretty small too. may want to talk with jarvism he's a pretty small guy too. btw are you dead set on a 2pc? or considering a 1pc? and if money really is no issue go with a leather jacket. if i had to start over again i would get leather instead of textile. ha money is no issue. just you wait...
