  1. I'm also in the columbus area around easton, I'm currently laid off and have all the time in the world to ride so hit me up too if you dont mind?

what would be a good place to meet up? The area we go is near Olentangy Liberty HS off Home Rd. Let me know if you can do that and ill PM you my number and we can work something out.

  2. if you've done it yourself i would like to tackle this myself (with you) ill let you know when i get it.

i called extreme and they quoted me 220 for the labor which isn't too bad.

tuning wont be hard, ordering from Ivan's, and he's got the tuning numbers i need to tune it just right with the configuration i have.

  3. hey guys i plan on doing a few engine mods this summer beyond my garage mechanic abilities...

the thing i need the most installed is a jet kit for my bike. Anyone know of quality shops that can install and tune it properly (would be sweet if they had a dyno...)

anything but competition accessories i have had nothing but bad experiences with their service dept.

prefer a shop sportbike oriented so i can get a mech that knows a little something about my bike and the kit being installed.

    any suggestions??

    thanks

  4. yeah and last year they decided to have their own "bike night" on wednesdays. brilliant! well it was kinda cool cause we got to use the south campus gateway as the parking lot, for all of like 6 bikes.... :moo::moo:

i thought that was for all the guys that chromed there bikes and dragged and did illegal things...

lol dont go to taco bell at night unless you have ample chrome and a small penis to hang with those guys...:bitchfight:

anyway harb i PM'd you let me know what you want to do!

    and welcome!

  5. if your on campus dude PM me and my buddy (has yet to post) have found a road about 30 minutes from here that is not to well known.

playerpro has also ridden it with us and gotten his stamp of approval lol

we'll take you up there if you want. These aren't your best twisties like hocking but its good enough to make you feel good in your pants.

edit: just looked at your bike and your other posts "member of the motorcycle club..." (is that me your referring to??)... do you ride the blue 650r and park on north campus in the nosker lot (near fresh)? If thats you then let me know.

  6. Okay, that's what I thought it meant...I just don't know how you go about 'giving it flex'...I figured that was something inherent to the paint type/brand. I assume that with fiberglass track fairings I should get a flexible paint so that it doesn't crack easily. I'm not really concerned with longevity because I'm a shitty rider and will probably wreck it anyways...:D

Yeah, I've been debating just spray painting it. I already have a paint gun, compressor, particle mask though...might as well use them.

o well if you already have all the equipment then ya man go for it. i didn't realize you had all that.

  7. just spray paint it if your not looking for perfection. i spray painted mine for a total of $30 using duplicolor cans. You can't tell unless you get real close, i didn't want to spend ~$500 for a good looking paint job and then go to the track and mess it up...

click on it for a bigger pic...

  8. If the weather is dry before the show I will be there. However, if it is raining I will have to hold off. There are electronics that can not get wet. ($1,000.00 for a new control box for the dyno) nor is it safe to try and get a bike on and off the dyno with with everything wet. Had two different customers almost lose their footing while trying to pull their bikes out of the front wheel chaulk. Hopefully the weather is nice and we can make some pulls and noise.:)

well hopefully there is another opportunity in the near future like this. just my luck a piece inside my shift shaft assembly decided to break and i wont get the replacement til after the dyno day :(
