  1. if you're in cbus iron pony has them as "fuel line"
  2. pig? im' not up to with the cool lingo you guys are throwin' down
  3. use your mom/wife's/gf's hair dryer and preheat that backside of the stomp grip and the tank. or put the bike and SG adhesion side up in the sun for a few hours. that and patience helps quite a bit.
  4. when you use the 3M mounts, make sure you use the rubber insert. helps quite a bit.
  5. what kind of bike do you have?
  6. i'm gonna jump in there and say that there's more patience with track days and other riders. when they say it's not a race at the riders meeting of track days, i never knew what they meant until after i started racing and did a trackday after. at the trackday, i found myself waiting a little more behind other slower riders where if it was a race situation i would've stuffed them into the corner. granted, i don't get to stuff other riders much as i'm still learning a lot but i do expect it from others and they from myself if given the opportunity. if you're not ready to have guys unexpectedly show up as you're diving into the corner and immediately needing to change your line or touching elbows with other riders in close quarters with someone else, i'd probably hold off a bit.
  7. ha deleting and facebook don't go together... i thought fb implemented a new thing where your page automatically becomes a "fan page" once it gets to that 5k threshold.
  8. it's possible he could have glassed the opening to seal it.
  9. my damper has 17 clicks. just kidding. but surusly, it does.
  10. uh, that's not good enough for racing.
  11. yea i am aware of that issue. there is no recall for this vin at the moment but i have it in writing that if the trans does fail i will get done what's needed with no cost to me.
  12. supposed to handle snow very well (as well as a 2wd car can). plus, from what i've been told, Holland does a good job at snow/ice removal come winter.
  13. eh it's got the warranty for a couple more years with the option to extend to 100k if i want down the road. reason i went with ford was because i got the hookup from a friend of a friend with their employee plan pricing.
  14. well boys and girls with all that truck talk i ended up biting the bullet, flipped my decision and bought a car instead. pic from the dealer: more pics when it gets delivered to work tomorrow. (likeaboss) 2010 Ford Fusion SEL V6 3.0 --it's got literally every single option available except for the big nav screen. --12 speaker Sony audio system --Microsoft Sync --6 disc cd/mp3cd changer --LED cabin lighting (adjustable color for extreme awesomeness) --heated seats --remote start --all leather --automatic manual/clutchless manual/auto stick/whatever you call it --SEL Sport wheels --Certified Pre-Owned, bumper to bumper warranty 3/60k and more i'm sure i'm forgetting... Biggest plus for me was the gas mileage: 21/28 mpg with an average of 26 at the moment with 22k miles under it's belt. Really nothing else needed to be done to it, probably add window tint down the line. Best of all, cheaper than the truck i was looking at. I don't have to worry about my lead foot ruining my gas budget. I'll end up getting a hitch and small trailer from harbor freight and using this as my trackday hauler.
  15. are you pushing the bike down and your body staying vertical, or are you pushing the bike up and your body going horizontal (persay...)?
  16. this is the one i use with my gopro. no problems whatsoever i didn't get it from sears, just what the first search came up with. Pretty sure i got it through newegg.
  17. what class is it? for HD Processing, at least for GoPro, they recommend ≥ class 4 SD card. edit: what he^ said.
  18. right down the road from my parents house.
