Just the basic lap timer and IR reciever. I can promise you 98% of the time someone will bring a transmitter. But this early, you really dont need to worry about lap times but rather putting segments together and making a clean lap. That ~150 dollars could go towards tires or another trackday. not needed yet i would say IMO. I dont have one and Lizard doesn't even have one (last i remembered).

now...where will parking be...

jess you still going though? itd be cool to meet and ride with you. i think flounder and zorro will be in their own bed together...

bike is in cbus now ill take pics when i get up there on thursday. sorry hob was it you who initially asked me for mount pics a while ago? i used all my mounts: nose - face forward tank undertail mid/lower fairing - face front and back a few inches below where the mirror would be, where the fairing curves up into the windscreen - face back.

Mid ohio has been doing some very iffy things management wise ever since that woman took over. thats not meant to be sexist i just dont remeber her name.

Confirmed: there will be no stt instructors at mid ohio unless they are paying customers to the now mid ohio event.

yea there is the thread "so i hit a concrete wall today" in pics and vids i think. but its the same as you see above just clipped to a shorter segment. all explained in that thread, just ran out of track trying to keep a wide line since i thought the kawi was still there on the inside, ran out of track however. no damage other than a smashed frame slider. I have more videos as well that i am slowly putting up.

the LED is still on but is not being run by STT. There will be instructors there, nobody on either end knows if they will be STT instructors still doing it or Mid Oh instructors. Im not sure where they would get as knowledgeable instructors as STT had though.

talked with apch8r who has word from patty from email regarding the first half. and the second half was from a source that i dont want to reveal as i dont want to get him/her in possible trouble. although what zorro said makes more sense, in the "cancelled" sense that stt is no longer running mid ohio.

its not looking good. stt is no longer working with mid ohio and its possible this event may be cancelled. although this is just heard down the grapevine so the second half may or may not be true.

nick started a thread on STT asking this same question last night and now its gone... or im just too blind to find it. eitherway, would they really cancel an event that is only a few days away?

pretty sure im going to do this, just waiting to here from steve d. will there be a tire guy there to change out tires if we need them to? or will they only do purchased from them michelin tires? also what about the wreck rule?
