  1. Easton is by far the worst Wal Mart I have ever been to. I drive to the one in Lewis Center becuase I refuse to set foot in that shithole ever again.
  2. You're welcome. You should have seen the texts I got from her the next morning.
  3. I would definitely not recommend Scorpion. Bought one from batteries plus at the beginning of this year. Got real busy around the end of summer/fall and the bike sat for about 5 or 6 weeks...went to start it and it was half dead...lights and gauges came on but it wouldn't turn over. It wasn't even cold outside. Garbage. I'll stick with Yuasa next time.
  4. The max download speed isn't 10M is it? Cuz I'm pretty sure I pay for more than that
  5. that lunchablez commercial is fucking hilarious
  6. :werd: Honestly, anything is better than Ianello and another 1-11 season
  7. I heard on ESPN radio that this was unfortunately not true...
  8. A lot of the opinions that you'll get online will be based on personal experience. I have a friend who bought an LG LCD from Newegg and had to RMA it twice before he got one that actually worked correctly out of the box. That could be where some of my bias comes from. And you're right about calibration - never base a purchase on what the picture looks like in the store. Most of the people that work there wouldn't have the slightest idea how to calibrate a tv and wouldn't know what white balance was if you asked them.
  9. Out of the 3 I'd go with Samsung - they make a quality product. I've heard some less than Stellar things about the newer Sharp's, even the Aquos line and I'm not a fan of LG. You know those shitty old 'Goldstar' brand tv's they used to sell at KMart/Hills/etc? Yeah that's LG. If buying a new tv I'd go with a Panasonic or Samsung. Too bad Pioneer doesn't make tv's anymore because they were phenomenal.
  10. This is a forum about bikes? And R1Crusher is a douche
  11. Specs for the 42" at Best Buy: http://www.sharpusa.com/ForHome/HomeEntertainment/LCDTVs/LC42SV49U.aspx Specs for the 60" at HH Gregg: http://www.hhgregg.com/sharp-60-class-aquos-120hz-1080p-hdtv-60-03-diagonal-size-/item/LC60E69U
  12. You're probably right. I only use it to download music, I stick to redtube for my pr0n and I don't use pirated software anymore. Hopefully downloading Nickelback's entire library of music won't give me a virus...
  13. I beg to differ big guy. I've been playing 360 on a Hitachi plasma since 2005 and don't have a single thing burned into that screen. Looks exactly the same as the day I bought it. I also don't have to worry about ghosting if my tv can't keep up with what's going on in the game and I don't have to worry about the black level not being deep enough. I'll stick with plasma as my main tv
  14. That's very true...with LCD's and LED's the name can be a bit decieivng. For $199 for a 42" or $800 for a 60" I would assume they are edge lit. For $200 I'm not expecting top of the line picture quality...just something for the spare room or the garage. I really prefer plasma, which is what I have in the living room - I personally think the picture looks better, deeper blacks and no worries about refresh rate. But $200 for a 42" 1080p spare is a great deal.
  15. Yeah that aquos is a good deal. Best buy actually opens at midnight and they start passing out tickets at 10pm. I hate lines and cold weather but that might be worth it.
  16. Have you tried the new frostwire? They switched from being gnutella based to using strictly torrents...I've never used uTorrent but frostwire's search function is pretty good, it'll search all the major sites: pirate bay, torrent reactor, mininova, etc at least that's what I've heard
  17. Just saw that Best Buy has a 42" Sharp 1080p LCD for $199....tempting for the spare bedroom
  18. Yeah I haven't seen anything really amazing that caught my eye. Most of the reallw priced tv's that are being advertised are POS LCD's with a 60hz refresh rate. Garbage. There were a few good deals on 50"+ tv's but I'm not really looking to spend that kind of money this year.
  19. Looks like I'm headed to NYC since we have CNBC on at work. My team is my gf, my mom and the service advisor from Ricart Kia  Vehicle is a mid 2000's Silverado 2500....not bad Last weapon I used in a video game was an M249....win First zombie I have to kill is my old roommate....sorry bout your luck bro My chances? If I feed the other 3 to the zombies as a distraction I'm left with myself, a truck and an M249....I like my odds
  20. Hmmm...maybe that will include me. Oh well, hate this job anyway
