  1. I am looking for a Smith & Wesson 9mm Pro series or 9L.

This is the model with the extended 5" slide. I've been trying to get a hold of the guy selling one on armslist, but he won't respond.

No rush, I had one and traded it off and now I regret it.

  2. -- SOLD --

    600$

I always thought it was a Centurion 99 (I swear that is what the box said), but looking at the receiver, it says it is a Federal Arms FA99. I bought it new back in 99. It is basically an HK G3 parts kit put onto a US made aluminum receiver.

Receiver is ulgy as hell, but seems solid and has a built in scope rail. I currently have a Bushnell .3.5-10 x45mm scope on it and it goes with the rifle. Some of the paint is missing off of the receiver to the rear of the ejection port where the shell casings hit it. The original trigger sucked bad, so I sent the trigger group off to Williams Trigger Specialties (http://www.williamstriggers.com/index.html) for a trigger job. While not a "light" trigger, it now has a clean break without the creep it used to have.

I have 11 mags for it and I've probably put 200 rounds through it over the past 13 years and never had an issue. It does beat the crap out of the brass when ejecting, so reloading it might be a challenge.

    Users manual is available HERE

Let me know if you have any questions.

I can meet in Morrow county or Delaware (N. Cbus) area.

Only trades would be for an M&P Pro 9mm.

  3. Mine isn't really a "Go bag", but technically more of a "get home bag". I am going with the assumption that the EMP is going to hit during the day when I am at work and I will be forced to walk home. It is 30 miles on the road, shorter if I take the RR tracks. All of this crap is in a full frame military pack in the truck of the car at all times.

    purification tablets

    water filter (Katadyn hiker pro)

Small packets of powdered drink mix (to help water taste)

    MRE x2

energy food bars / hard candy (for sugar)

large heavy duty garbage bags x2

    matches / lighters

compass & paper Delaware & Morrow county maps

    cable saw

    parachute cord

    fishing line (snares & whatever)

    small assorted zip ties

    gallon ziplock baggie

    disposable rubber gloves

    knife

    hatchet

    hammock

    space blankets x2

    guns (M&P 9 carry gun & HiPoint 995) / ammo

    clothes

    -socks & shoes

    -jeans

    -sweatshirt

    -gloves

The pack is modified every spring & fall when the weather changes. Energy bars & MREs are swapped out. There is always bottled water in the trunk of the car too. Kids go through that regularly.

  4. I'd love to know the precise reason why the EPA required this engine destroyed. Think of the local small businesses that would love to get their hands on a truck like this.

Even other govt agencies. Our local township has truck that even I classify as pieces of crap. There are probably villages all over Ohio that would LOVE to have something like this in running condition.

The replacement truck for this will probably have to be destroyed in a few years with 20k miles on it, and then they will complain about needing to raise taxes again for new equipment.

  5. --- SOLD ---

This is also on craigslist. $500 obo

I am selling my kids 2001 Yamaha PW80. He is 11 now and had outgrown it physically. This bike is perfect for your average 6-10 year old.

It is a 3 speed with an automatic clutch. The 2 cycle engine has a separate oil tank and they are mixed in the carburetor. The bike starts and runs great and has an Ohio title.

Just like everyone else selling their PWs, I would be interested in trading towards a larger bike or quad. It is located in Chesterville (45 min North of Cols).

  6. id choose a rock over a hi point. it will be much more reliable in the long run lol.

Then sir, I formally accept your challenge to a duel! Shall we say 50 yards?

(Then I get your rock too!)

Yes it is. However if you have a carry permit and you get a rifle that takes the same mags as your pistol...... ;)

That's why I did a 9mm AR that accepts Glock mags ;) I carry a Glock and mags for my Glock...they just happen to fit the AR as well.

Having the mags already loaded wouldn't be a big deal since this would be a secondary weapon anyway. If I have to end up walking home, carrying a "rifle" would probably keep people away. That is my theory anyway.

  7. www.squareup.com if it is that he wants to use a credit card.

I just signed up for this. The "Verify your identity" questions were freakin' scary? They already have a disturbing amount of information on me that I needed to confirm. My address from back in 1991 when I lived in Colorado? Where in the hell did they get that?

Assuming it's legit, it should make selling things a LOT easier. I don't even really care if they can afford it or not, NMFP.

  8. I did some more research and have decided that I'm not going to risk it. Cash is king.

I need to buy myself one of those counterfeit pens, so when there is a stack of cash, I can check any that seem questionable.

    Thanks for the advice.

  9. I am selling my CBR ($2900) and I have a guy who wants to pay half cash / half Paypal. I assume it is so he can put it on a credit card.

Of course I would much rather have cash, but I can understand his request. He said that he can buy it a lot sooner if he can do half paypal.

As long as he adds the 3% to cover paypal fees, how else can I get screwed on this?

    Thoughts?

  10. --- FOUND ONE ---

I am looking for a HiPoint 995 9mm carbine. I think it would make a nice dedicated "trunk gun" to compliment the GHB (get home bag).

Fin, feather fur had them for $245 so I am hoping for less than that unless it has an ATI stock or something like that.

No rush, but I figured I'd throw it out there.

  11. Check these guys out. It'll save you some $$$ if you feel like doing some work yourself.

Did you ever end up selling that ST you had?

Yep. $800 to a guy on the ST forum who had an identical bike with over 100K on it. I ended up adding $100 to get a replacement Connie. It doesn't have near the class of the ST, but it will get the job done.

  12. I want to get the seat redone on my 87 Concours. Several of the seams have ripped out and my options are ebay a replacement (~$150+) or recover the existing one.

Anyone have any recommendations or places to avoid?

    N. side of Cols or Delaware area would be great, but I can ship if the price is right.

  13. --- SOLD --- for full $2900

I am posting here first, it will probably go on craigslist tonight.

It is time to pass this one off and move on to the next bike. This was bought as a non-running (neglected) bike for the purpose of fixing up to resell. I need the $$ for the next project bike. It's a hobby.

    1999 CBR 600F4

    19,xxx miles

This is a nice clean totally stock (unmolested) bike. This is a very clean, sharp looking bike.

New Bikemaster battery - 1 yr warranty from Iron Pony

    Oil & filter changed - Honda GN4 10w30 / K&N Oil Filter

    Air filter replaced (K&N)

Brake fluid flushed (front & rear DOT4 fluid)

    Spark Plugs - NGK CR9EH-9

    Carbs cleaned & balanced

carb float valves replaced (all 4)

    Fuel filter replaced

Vacuum & fuel lines replaced - new hose clamps on everything

front & rear brake pads all replaced

There are some small scuffs on both side fairings, but no cracks. Tires and seat are in very good shape. It has a clean OH title and is ridden daily. I am not in a hurry to sell.

$2900 firm / no trades for anything but another bike with potential to fix & flip.

The bike is just south of Delaware at work during the week (Cols. State) and Close to Chesterville (Morrow County) evening and weekends.
