  1. He would probably need this too. He has very minimal use of his legs. Not really any movement at all below the knees and very little feeling or movement below the waist. Would you mind if I pass on your contact info to him so he can hit you up if he has some questions?
  2. He mentioned something about getting one with a small trailer so he could haul the wheelchair with him. I would think that he could build some kind of mount on the back, but that's just my opinion. If he didn't have the chair with him, he is pretty much stuck on the bike.
  3. First off, this isn't for me, and no, I'm not gay. I have a buddy who was in an ultralight crash years ago and is in a wheelchair (12 years now). He always had street bike until the accident and now after dumping the GF, he wants to get back into riding. The Goldwing trike thing seemed to be the only option until he came across a Can-Am Spyder roadster. He has also considered a Goldwing with "landing gear" (retractable training wheels). Does anyone here know anyone who actually has one of these that he could go look at & chat with the owner?
  4. 1993 ST1100 - Naked (no bags on for the pic). It's comfortable, quiet & practical. I miss the sound of a sportbike. And loaded with bags & backrest.
  5. Damn.... That's just plain mean.
  6. I met him back in 91 while working out in Colorado Springs. The Ford dealer that I was working for brought him in for a few demonstrations and he had his collection on display in the showroom. Just as cocky in person as he was on the video. Can't say as I really liked the guy, but he did put on a hell of a show. Even live, you couldn't hear both shots. He was using blanks & balloons jsut like in the video.
  7. 500 rounds of FMJ. Already offered it to a buddy for $200 but haven't seen any cash yet.

  8. HK just got traded off for a Beretta 92FS and $150. I had 1 $600 offer and multiple $550 ones. Others are still available if anyone is interested. I have someone interested in the Colt Series 70 that wants to trade for a Stag model 6. He wants me to throw in an additional $200. I can get that by selling my .45 ammo. Anbody familiar with those (Stag model 6)?
  9. Please, oh PLEASE, have a camera rolling when you do.
  10. "Not yet". I am working on a swap for a Beretta + cash over the Christmas break, if that falls through, then "maybe".
  11. Colt Series 70, custom work by Jim Clark, tapered barrel & compensator Bunch of other stuff, still looking for a comparable to find value. Guessing $850 range Hit me up if seriously interested. Note: I am only really interested in trading for Berettta's & AR's. Prices negotiable if you have something to trade.
  12. You should really get it as a Christmas present to yourself. You deserve it!!!! Hell, I'll even wrap it.
  13. I am implementing a new strategy on guns and moving from having a variety to multiples of a couple of models. I am currently focusing on the Beretta 92FS and AR15. Less models for spare parts and less to teach the wife & kiddies how to use properly. So, I am starting to sell off some of the variety. HK USP 9mm, full size, variant 1 with decocker, 2 10 rd mags, 2 15 rd mags, excellent condition - $600 TRADED Taurus PT99AF, 9mm, 4 mags Shiny stainless (too flashy for me) $450 Browning Hi Power, 9mm, 5 mags, Novak Custom trigger work - $800 ( I do have factory grips) Selling prices are fairly firm. I'm not selling because I need the money, only to convert to Berettas & AR's. Willing to work with prices, or pay out $$ is it is to trade. Also eventually selling, IPSC custom .45 (Colt series 70). Can send pics if interested. Feel free to ask any questions. Bitching, whining & complaining will be tolerated since you are going to do it anyway.
  14. Does anybody here have any experience with the cheap ($400) plasma cutters like this one? NEW CUT50D AIR INVERTER PLASMA CUTTER 120/220V 50A - $370 (Dublin, OH) http://columbus.craigslist.org/tls/1489584367.html It will basically be a hobby/farm tool and won't get a lot of heavy use. My debate is get a cheap new one, or keep watching for a higher quality brand name used one (Miller, Hobart, etc.). Thoughts?
  15. If you don't mind, how much did you end up paying for it? I kept trying to get him to respond with no luck.
  16. Is there any sympathy at all when these dipshits get squished under a truck that they just cut in front of? None from me, but I was just wondering. I would also assume that every time they bump another vehicle and scratch the paint, they just ride away. Probably happens daily.
  17. 13 years newer than the piece of shit I ride now.
  18. I can't tell if he is actually stupid, or just playing stupid. If I call him to ask for the VIN, I think I can assume the response will be "What's a vin?" I have an older 250 that is fine for trail riding, but won't cut it if I want to go to Somerset to climb some hills. This would be a fine upgrade if it isn't a major fix. Anybody care to elaborate on the MJ USA comments? Never dealt with them.

    1990 ZX10.

    From the album: stuff

Riding position was better than the FZR. It had been halfway converted to a drag bike. Extended swingarm sucked. Ran like shit unless it was wide open & loud as hell.

2003 Suzuki Intruder - tried a cruiser. Too small to be comfortable. Would be a great chick bike. I may try a bigger cruiser in the future, there is potential there.
  22. From the album: stuff

1995 FZR1000, Fun bike & ran great, I just couldn't get used to the riding position. Too old & fat.
