  1. never understood the whole BT thing... What does a battery cost? $50-$75, if it doesn't have the fortitude to fire up after sitting for a little while, I'm not gonna trust it to fire up when I'm out and about. I replace my battery every couple years typically... just peace of mind having a fresh one.
  2. CHILL dude, most of us that posted commended you for trying to turn yourself around, and most of us offered up free advice as to what you should be looking for... take some advice, and relax a little, not everyone is out to get you.
  3. OHHH teh giggles have started again.... I remembered the gist of that thread, but the humor comes back in the details... good times, good times...
  4. possible, I wasn't really paying attention, i was distracted by the cornucopia of noises coming from the canatuna, between chain lash, brake screech and exhaust pops, lol
  5. disorderly conduct? inciting a riot? illegal parking? impersonating a police officer?
  6. http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2012/07/30/13033501-james-holmes-charged-with-murder-in-colorado-theater-shooting?lite charged with 141 counts 12 1st degree "Murder With Deliberation" 12 1st degree Murder of "extreme indifference to the value of human life" 116 attempted murder 1 illegal possession of explosives edit: Yahoo reports that there are 142 charges filed, I don't know what the last one is...
  7. just a lot of thou arts and begats, way too many begats... if it's not worthwhile to name their accomplishments, don't bother with the begats... we don't need their names.
  8. lol, I took my niece (who is 3 now) to DQ last week. we're sitting in there waiting patiently for our ice cream when she turns to me and says "look uncled,(minor speech impediment) a Pirate!" I look over and confirm my suspicion, typical cruiser rider: tatoos, multiple piercings, leather vest, and the cliche red bandana on his head. I started giggling uncontrollably. She (reacting to my lauging) started laughing herself and asked "do you think he likes spongebob?" :hijack:
  9. pages sticking together makes an already dry book all that much harder to get through...
  10. my opinion differs, if you're going to buy a motorcycle, but first need to convert it into an unstable car with handle bars, don't bother, buy a convertible, wind in receding hair, and a stable platform... all the benefits, none of the drawbacks... if you really want to you could replace the steering wheel with a handlebar mount...
  11. some time before "cell phones", and some time after "food"... birth control is cheaper than a kid in poverty to provide for... so i see the point... but definitely agree that some government programs are getting a bit ridiculous...
  12. tim's almost as opposed to trailers as I am to trikes...lol
  13. there are MANY people who would argue that if you are in favor of birth control you are not a "true conservative" the pope for example...
  14. Lol, jensen! My first setup in high school, I had a pioneer head unit, forget the model number but it had a pop out volume knob, and the oled display all blue-green and the demo mode played race car scenes and dolphins and stuff... Then I bought a pair of jensen 12's (with the rediculously thick foam surround) And a jensen 300 watt amp. I later bought a second 300 watt jensen and bridged them so each amp was pushing 1 sub Ahh, the good ol days, lol
  15. Welcome to being a moderate/independent... your views on birth control do not comply with the republican party, or conservative values....
  16. I'm in the process of teaching backpack.. She's getting better with the clutch, and she can manage to keep it upright around a parking lot... Once we get her comfortable with a little more speed, and really a good understanding of countersteering, we'll get her out on the roads. She'll be in the MSF once her schedule will allow for it. I'm also in the process of teaching my mother to ride...The fact that she's riding a scooter has a positive, and a negative element. On one hand, it's easier to get going, no clutch to worry about, on the other hand the MSF probably won't be the direction she takes, so we'll have to get her practicing the state test. My friend's mom has asked me to teach her to ride, too... so that'll be fun.
  17. I came out for that ride with you guys doc, remember your tire was shredded? Scott and I met up at noon in ashtabula county, you always want to meet up at like 3 AM in the middle of the state...on days when I usually sleep in. I'll get out and ride with you guys again...
  18. Spent more time working on a suzuki than riding, lol j/k
  19. LOL, i like these threads...
  20. it's fun, and annoying at the same time... and to be clear, I'm not a moderate, I'm pretty extreme, but my extreme views dont fall along party lines...it crosses them to th extreme... I'm more "small government" than the republicans, and I'm more "presonal freedom" than the democrats...
  21. because there are NO fathers rights before birth, I refuse to debate pro-choice/pro-life...
  22. I miss car audio... don't have the money or patience for it right now, plus caddy's factory nav unit is remarakbly difficult to interface with. Maybe my next car
