    okay, while i can see the beauty in some of these machines NONE of this peaks to harley davidson, the motor company isn't responsible for most of those bikes. they are custom bikes, and could be powered with a victory engine, just as easy as a chevy 350... the harley bashing primarily comes from their severe lack of horsepower (even for air cooled twins)

    :yawn: how long is the engine @ 3500? 1/2 a second? maybe I like winding the engine up, you put an air cooled vtwin @ 10 grand and watch it grenade.

    Snowboarding is fun, pknpk has a great beginner program, but I prefer snowmobiles. They can be had pretty cheap, too. I paid 400 for my 340 2 stroke, and it'll do 70 no problem.

    yeah there is, the ZX-14 is 300cc's smaller and makes 3 more ft lb's. (not to mention 190-200 horsepower depending on speed)

    that's why i said what i said. I'm not knocking you for enjoying an air cooled machine, just commenting on the severe shortage of power. I have an air cooled, underpowered toy that I enjoy playing with as well (mine just has 4 wheels). no insults intended mang.

    what's the displacement? now compare that to a water cooled modern engine of similar displacement, go ahead... I'll wait *hums jeopardy theme* see? it IS underpowered... not a big deal, enough power to ride around with your girl and enjoy, i'm not knocking it, it is what it is. but for it's size, it should be producing at least double the horsepower.

    you're already on an underpowered air cooled cruiser, who cares if it's overpriced, too? if you want it, go for it.
