  1. overpriced, you can find them for 10 or sometimes less on ebay.
  2. you'd be right if ther was no air resistance. she's right if they have the same air resistance (2 objects with same volume/shape/profile etc) and you're both missing the point if neither are the case.
  3. okay, err it's still not working, i'm getting craigslist all over "tody's posts" again.
  4. they are showing up under "today's posts", but i suppose i could just as easily link to the "new post" instead.
  5. I'm one of those hardcore guys that will slab it to dayton if there is a OR event there...
  6. like the idea, and for daily riding it appears to be more than adequate, if I didn't already buy the tools for chains i might consider this, but since i already have the tools, and the know how, i'll just stick to riveted.
  7. qft... it's all special effects and bullsh, there is nothing that any rider can learn from either of these movies...except for how to show up in style with your hayabusa (riding on top of it in the back of a pick-up)
  8. When i was a younger kid, I would hear my dad talk about the honda CBX, "146 mph from the showroom floor" "not only did honda WIN the race, it WAS the race" and other propoganda... when i was 16, i found an article for the 2004 cbx 1600 (or so was rumored) and decided that "this was the bike for me..." in 2001, I seen a red CBR 1100XX on honda's website, and thought it looked remarkably close to the CBX posted above, when 2004 came and went, no cbx, I knew I had to have the XX, so I started my search, and finally had the coin, and opportunity back in march 2008. I picked it up from jersey, and brought it home.
  9. what "technical stuff" are you talking about? pre-assembled engines? bolting them to pre-fabbed frames? it was like watching 3 retarded monkeys assembling a 16 piece puzzle for an hour.
  10. browns fans dont wear bags on their heads, even when we're littering the field with debris after a bad call...we show our faces proudly. Sure, my team doesn't win as often as i'd like, but it's still my team....superbowl bound or 0-17, doesn't matter.
  11. I was getting it this morning, seemed to be at the server level. same pop up window i get when i login to a "members only" website like AOS or MFP
  12. happy for lose-ianna that they finally won, and happy that one of the cocky manning brothers didn't for a change...
  13. ashtabula county, and as usual, the roads have a nice thick layer of packed snow on them, and are suitable for cars with good tires, or snowmobiles to travel along them at safe speeds...
  14. well that's OBVIOUSLY true... it's a honda
  15. yeah, i like the "hid" look from the first versions i had ever seen, the very blue ones in the early porches. I also have this weird preoccupation with yellow headlights on top, so i'd really like to get a 3000 for my low beam, and a 10,000 for my high beam. similar to the look of my old car... don't mind me i'm a weirdo.
  16. bump, was looking for a 10,000ish color temp

  19. I showed up after all the editing, unfortunately. Some people just like to be decietful, regrettably for those people, we have a large/knowledgeable community of people of all walks of life, and interest in several different types of bikes... it's like those people in bars who like to tell you that they've done 260 mph on their cousin's stock gixxer 600...and when you tell them that isn't the case, they go "no i meant gixxer 1000", you correct them again and say "oh wait it was a 'busa"...*shakes head*
  20. i thought for sure taint rub would be in there...
  21. I <3 My Corbin! 1500 mile run from L.A. to Vinita, Ok. no pain...
