As for Forza, it's a shame to hear things have died down with that game. I remember the community for Forza 2 was awesome, if not a little too hardcore. I still have a Marlboro and Batman/Gotham City car in my garage from pink-slip races. People made some sick looking rides in that game. I can't even count the amount of hours I "wasted" tuning specific cars to specific tracks. lol

There are too many sheep in this country, and few people that want to stand up and learn/face the facts. One point I always bring up are all the potential crimes that are stopped because someone has a firearm. We don't hear about those, just the "bad/dramatic" stuff. Let's face it, a lot of your assaults, robberies, etc. are crimes of opportunity. As soon that person see's you're not as weak as they had thought, a lot of times they don't even bother and just wait for the next guy. If not, well, you were screwed anyway, so thank goodness you had the firearm to protect yourself.

Just heard from my SIL, my riding buddy and my SIL's mom , who drives a school bus.

You "Do Not" have to stop if you are in the far rt. ln. of a 4 lane, you are required to slow to 20 or below for safety reasons.

Now heres the But: Each school distict and municipality has the right to adjust this, due to the road and situation of the drop off or pick-up.

In other words, check with your locals about their interpitation of the law, and if your out and about, slow and for safety, just stop for the minute or so for safety's sake.

Holy crap, you just posted more misinformation in this one post than what is in this entire thread combined. Your contacts are horribly, horribly wrong.

a) On a four-lane highway, the traffic traveling in the opposite direction does not have to stop PERIOD. It does not matter if you're in the far right lane or not.

b) You are NOT required to slow down for the school bus. You either have to stop, or you don't.

c) There is nothing for the school districts and municipalities to adjust, let alone if they could/did, it would only cause more confusion (as there is obviously enough already). State law mandates that school buses must drop kids off on the same side as their residence if the road has four lanes or more. So once again, if it's not at least four lanes, where a kid might have to cross the road, ALL TRAFFIC has to stop anyway.

Please people, for the love of God, go read the Ohio Revised Code and Digest of Motor Vehicle Laws VERY SLOWLY, AND CAREFULLY instead of going to people that obviously have no effing clue about what they are talking about.

Why are people still arguing this? I posted the EXACT text from the Ohio Digest of Motor Vehicle Laws. It says ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about divided highways anymore. It is strictly four lanes or more. It cannot be any more clear than that.

I don't care what your LEO friend says, it's written plain and simple. If they want to stop someone, fine, they're in the wrong, and they can have fun being laughed at by the judge.

I have a friend that purchased a Victory this year, and as brigham70 stated, they are grossly overpriced, but very nice. Keep in mind, if you care to do any modification, there's pretty much no third-party aftermarket parts for it, you have to buy your parts from Victory...which obviously are ridiculously high-priced.

I get the feeling this is a parody of the Nyan Cat videos that I have so adamantly refused to watch, even though they have been posted everywhere.

Sorry for your loss man. I put my dog down last year after she had a severe stroke. Even though I knew it was by far the right thing to do, it didn't make it any easier.

The problem is that people tend to think their aftermarket parts adds way more to the value than it really does. If he was smart, he'd go back to stock (if he saved the parts) and sell the aftermarket separately.

And moj i appreciate the offer that is very kind but i am just not willing to do that i dont want the dog to go to someone who is not willing to pay for exactly the same reason when i used to adopt cats with a lady who went and rescued them we would make sure the person is financially capable.

Carwhore you say you have lost so much money on stuff and tell me that i have to let the dog go for free or someone else has to pay me for you to have it. If money was not such a big issue to you and you wanted the dog you would have just said heres 3 hundred and then i may have been confident in letting you have her.

Wow, seriously? I tried to stay away from this thread, but that is the biggest load of crap I have ever heard. I've owned dogs all my life and always just go with rescues or dogs that need re-homed. Throughout this thread, you have been backpedaling and trying to come up with excuses to charge your fee. Now you say you do it to prove they are "financially capable."

Whatever dude, tell yourself whatever you need to make yourself sleep better at night. Most [decent] people charge re-homing fees because they actually travel to the interested parties house to scope out the living situation, the owners, and check on things to see that they can provide properly for the dog. Just because someone can fork over $300 means nothing.

You also talk about the lady you adopted cats out with, yet you obviously fail at your own logic since you have made the same mistake that you're claiming your $300 charge will keep from happening again.
