    "Professional" sports are a complete joke anymore. Just a bunch of spoiled jackasses whining about how they only made [random number] million this year. It's a shame people don't stand up against this bullshit and quit paying the horrendously absurd ticket prices, which only keep getting higher to pay the ridiculous salaries for these egotistical assholes.

    The players REALLY DON'T care about their fans...why should you care about them?!

    If you're taking off your rims, just buy your tire online...especially if someone here will mount & balance for you. It will save you quite a bit of cash.

    I just got a set of Michelin Pilot Power 2 CT's for $180 shipped. Local shops were quoting me over $230 for the pair, and that was with their 30% off "sale."

    That's the way to go if you can wait, my order was processed very fast and shipped out. Took four days for shipping because they are based in California (with free ground shipping).

    dear all of you that think (and I use that term loosely) that charging a mother that is protecting her offspring would have been a good idea.... WRONG!!!! I don't know of any mammal that would abandon it's child in the presence of danger. You would have gotten your asses kicked by a fucking deer.

    I never said it was a good idea, but you still wouldn't have been able to stop me either...and I promise you that fucker would be dead.

    You couldn't have held me back from charging that effing deer if it went after my dog, then that damn fawn would have been next... Oh wow that really pissed me off.

    MANSFIELD — A Blacklick man was in stable condition today after crashing his motorcycle Tuesday at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

    “We’re not really sure where he hit,” Jennifer Sowd said. “He was conscious at the site, but he’s not even sure what happened.”

    Around noon, Jennifer said her husband, who works at the corporate office of The Limited in Columbus, was about to undergo an MRI at Grant Medical Center in Columbus.

    “He’s doing good and getting better,” she said. “When he’s awake, he talks, but he sleeps a lot because of all the meds. Now it’s just a time waiting thing. We’re waiting to see what the results of the MRI will be.”

    I have used an Escort myself for the last four years and have been very satisfied with it. I did get the occasional "service required" but it was when you would finish the initialization sequence, so I would just unplug it and plug it back in and it was fine. I have not used it for probably a year now though.

    Yes, radar detectors are legal in Ohio, radar jammers are not. Question is, how many LEOs are going to go with the "it looked like he was speeding" crap. Biggest thing to remember is that a radar detector is not going to save your ass alone. You still need to stay aware and scan for cops out ahead of you.

    Yeah, South Africa is in a tough group, I would be surprised to see them advance. Unfortunate for the home team...

    PPV, no cable? I know ESPN said that they will be broadcasting all of the matches live either on ESPN, ESPN2 and/or ABC, as well as in HD.

    Also, most of the matches will be simulcasted on ESPN360.com, that is, if you are with an Internet Service Provider provider that supports it...Time Warner is not one of them. :( If you go to the site though, you can check to see if your provider does.

    Ah, 'tis a good time to be unemployed. I've been looking forward to the 2010 World Cup for...well, four years now. :D I just hope that maybe, just maybe for once team USA can avoid Red Card mayhem...that always seems to destroy us.

    I really wish we had a stronger pool of strikers to choose from in the US, especially with Jozy being listed as day-to-day. I am not an Edson Buddle fan AT ALL. He always seems lazy and uninterested in the game whenever I see him on the pitch.

    My big worry is Beasley. He was absolutely horrid in 2009. He has seemed to get his shiz together lately, but can he play consistently in this tournament? Hell, I honestly still don't know why Bradley kept him around that long though. That goes for Pearce as well, but at least he got cut in the end.

    Secondary teams to root if USA drops early...I would root on Ghana and Ivory Coast. I always like watching the African teams because they seem to always play balls to the wall. It may not be pretty, but their endurance is admirable.

    Luckily I don't have to skip work b/c as I said, I got laid off. :p I did skip school though for the 2002 World Cup. Nothing like making sure my arse was up at 3-4am to watch the USMNT play.

    ...I just wish we had a good pub around here to go watch the games.
