I've decided that I'm going to try to not post in here. This is something that has hit a nerve and I don't want it getting out of hand.

So what you are telling me is that I can walk right into my supervisors office RIGHT NOW and tell him I'm putting in my 2 weeks notice? ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?! Sacrafice? GTFO of here with that bullshit! You cannot compare anything other than being a fireman or police officer to the military. Engineer? Are you freaking kidding me? That's no sacrafice! If you want a real sacrafice as a civilian engineer, bring your happy ass over to Afghanistan and do some engineering work over there. I'd have a lot more respect for you then. Until then STFU! So basiclly what you are saying is that our lives are not worth a high % raise, right?

WOW! Can tell that you've never been in the military. NO other job can classify you as AWOL and throw you in jail because you are not at work. No other job puts you in a combat zone every 2 years for 6 months at a time... Keeping you away from your kids growing up and stressing the relationship between your spouse. Do you even know what the divorce rate is in the military as opposed to other jobs? No, NONE of us had to get sworn in, but we did it so that we will continue to have freedom. The freedom that allows you to bitch and complain about how the enlisted troops make enough to get food stamps. Get your ass in the military and take a trip to Afghanistan... I bet your ass will be wanting a pay increase, especially if you have 4 more years left on your enlistment. I better stop, before I get really mad. I hate when people think the military gets paid bank. In fact... we don't. Some do qualify for food stamps and other government assistance.

How much does Blackwater make? How much are their pay increases? I think the military should make the same amount. What? $200,000 a little too much for the military? COME ON PEOPLE!
