The Auto trannies have a bad reputation because there is a tiny screen "filter" in the system that clogs, starving the tranny of fluid, causing it to overheat. Adding an aftermarket transmission cooler allows an alternate route for the fluid, keeping your tranny happy for years. Those particular pathfinder wheels actually will fit 31" tires, where as the XE models will not, so they are actually sought after. My pathy was a great truck. My only gripe is about cupholders.

But do you have OSRAM or Sylvania silverstars? Big difference, I dont mean the autozone sylvania silverstars. If you have 9005 or 9006 bulbs, HIR is really the way to go.

Unless you are retrofitting an OEM HID projector (not halogen projectors), avoid HID plug-and-play "kits". They are illegal for a reason. What kind of bulbs do you have? Look into better halogens such as phillips extravision or Osram silverstars. If those wont cut it go HIR, but make damn sure your lights are aimed properly.

If you plan on using a 55 gallon drum for a wood stove in a garage with chemicals you are asking for problems. That wont last long before it burns through if you use it regularly. Which leads into the next problem; good luck getting insurance to approve that. You can find a nice old cast iron stove for $150. Check the local paper classifieds. The hard part is moving it.

In my opinion, all those SUVs you posted are junk. By junk I just mean needy on maintenance and break often. Really the only "junk" part of the 4runner is that one 3.0 motor that eats head gaskets, but if you get into that it is a PITA! I had a friend who went through this, not only is it a pain to pull the heads, but if you snap a head bolt (like he did) you are really in for some work. Buy my Xterra. If not mine, buy someone else's. They are great vehicles.

You can get 32" LCD HDTVs for 500-600.. would be a much better investment, IMO. Check Sams Club, Aldi, or Kroger for a cheap 20" tube.
