+1 on the SuperSprox Stealth. I'd never get anything else and it seems like everyone that's got one has said the same. Seem to last alot longer than any other aftermarket sprocket.

46" 1080 LCD for under $600 yeah its offbrand but according to internet reviews, its really good

Anyone use this before? They have 70% off all gift certificates right now (code: FEAST) so you can get $100 gift certificate for $12 (regularly $40). The "catch" seems to be you must buy MORE than what the certificate is good for. For example, this $25 gift certificate for $4 for Bel Lago Waterfront Bistro in Westerville but "Valid with a minimum purchase of $35. Dine-in only. 18% gratuity added to the pre-discounted check." So if your meal was $35, you'd be paying $4+10+6.30(tip)=$20.30 making it 42% off (if I did that right)
18% gratuity is about what I leave anyway (as long as they deserve it) so it seems like it might be a good deal if you have have plans to go some place :???:

When I was in the military, I bought a car at a dealership in CA but had it titled/registered in Ohio. The BMV here just wanted to see a receipt that I paid taxes on it and then I didn't have to pay OH taxes. Don't know if that's how it should be done, but that's how it was done.

If you donate $10 they will have you bike up in 10 days or less

that would be cool

ehh....LG tv's suck. Lots of electrical problems.
Not all LGs have electrical problems. I'd much rather have an LG than a Vizio or Westinghouse or even Panasonic. LG competes with the best IMO.
50" with 720 is gonna suck, guys. Anything over 42" and not 1080 is going to look pretty lame...Spend the money and get a 46" with 1080 and you'll be mucho happier...
The only time you'll notice a difference between 720p and 1080p is from BluRay. Most HD cable is 720p. Same with most games.

50" LG 50PQ10 for $650 at Kroger w/ Kroger card. Yeah, it's only 720p but that's cheaper than eBay. Saw it at Kroger on 256 in Pickerington, dunno where else it is.

because ppl and companies wont "bite the bullet" and lose what theyve invested in copper/coax already
-
ha that's what it sounds like but it makes it sound like a dumb idea when you explain it

Short version:
New Coding Could Make Internet 99 Percent More Energy Efficient
By Stuart Fox Posted 01.13.2010
A Series Of Tubes via The Collegian
For most people, conserving energy means turning off lights in empty rooms. But for the researchers at Bell Labs, the massive energy savings lurk in the 1's and 0's of the code that regulates the Internet. Based on a new study from the lab, communications networks could use 99 percent less energy with only a few simple code changes. Bell Labs also estimates that those savings would prevent the emission of 300 million tons of carbon.
To help implement the changes needed to save that energy, Bell Labs has formed Green Touch, a consortium of networking and computer companies dedicated to reducing the energy waste of telecom networks by 99.9 percent over the next five years.
The savings lie in programs that separate actual messages from electromagnetic fuzz. Right now, networks use very powerful signals to communicate, that way the signal vastly overpowers the noise. Now that computer programs can easily separate the signal from the noise at much lower energies, networks can transmit the same message at a fraction of the energy cost.
And this development couldn't come soon enough. With ubiquitous Wi-Fi and 3-D television right around the corner, the scale of electronic communication, and thus the scale of the energy waste, is about to increase exponentially. With easy energy-saving progress by Green Touch and similar groups, we might be able to enjoy an on-demand 3-D movie without contributing to global warming.
