  1. We need 10 more tickets sold by June 24 or this isn't happening!

    Indianapolis Motorspeedway MotoGP races

    Aug 27 - Aug 29, 2010

    Events:

    Friday, Aug 27: Practice

    Saturday, Aug 28: Qualifying

    Sunday, Aug 29: Race day

    Seating:

40 Seats in E section, covered (row N and M, all together front/behind each other rather than strung out all on one row), just like last year (http://www.ohio-riders.com/showthread.php?t=19839)

The 40 seats are reserved, but need at least 20 people to sign up or it's back to retail price and no extras.

    Extras:

Lap around track if you bring bike and motorcycle parking are included but you have to let me know. The lap will be done either Aug 26 or Aug 30, so plan accordingly. They only have limited amounts of them so if you aren't going to use it, let it go so someone else can use it. You also get 10% off coupon, free souvenir and Ohio Riders up on the video board.

    Hotel/Camping:

3 or 4 campsite are reserved, but the camp sites aren't assigned. If you want to be next to someone, arrive at the same time.

10 rooms are reserved at the Sheraton City Center. (317) 635-2000

    Parking:

10 parking passes for the event in the closest lot to our seats are available. $40 for 3 days. As it gets closer, we will organize carpools and everyone in each carpool will split it. Indy might be running buses so we may not need parking passes at all.

Parking with trailers is allowed at hotel at no extra cost. There will be a roped off section for motorcycles at the hotel. Technically, you'll need to pay for that parking just like a car but wait until we get there as this might be able to be avoided.

    Costs:

$95 per ticket + $5 for postage per order if needed. I can just give you your tickets once we get there unless you NEED me to mail them to you. If paying with PayPal, add $3.15 for fees.

    $50 per campsite

$139 per night + taxes at Sheraton City Center + $23/day for parking at hotel. Check in on Friday and check out on Sunday morning before the race (2 days/nights)

$40 per car for event parking. More if you are taking a trailer.

Pay by June 25th. Paypal justin.hanke@gmail.com with username, number of tickets, if you want a lap or not. Pay hotel directly for room + parking passes (317) 635-2000 Call them to pay AFTER you tell me you want to be added to the list, they won't just let anyone call and say they are with Ohio Riders.

Reply or PM to have your name added. Let me know your sleeping arrangements, if you need trailer pass and if you want the lap w/ motorcycle and motorcycle parking or not.

    Misc:

There's another group buy going on as mentioned below in Zach's reply (http://www.ohio-riders.com/showthread.php?t=55724) from SVrider, but tickets are more expensive ($130)

  2. After nearly 12 months on the market our house is contract and closing March 30th. We are trading the country life for one in suburbia.

We are buying a house in Pickerington right off Refugee rd.

It will be a welcome change.

there's quite a few of us that live in pickerington. i live off refugee back in farmbrook estates. my neighbor is on here too.

  3. It really doesn't matter what blue book is. You could get more, you could get less. Things are worth what people will pay for them. I've sold a car for more than what I bought it for, a year after I bought it, thousands above blue book, just because they were in demand. Maybe you'll get $3k, but be prepared to wait another month or two.

  4. Either wait another month/month and a half and see if the feeding frenzy starts, or throw it up on CL now for $2750 and let it go for $2500. Still too early for the price you're offering.

    :plus1:

as a point of reference, i know someone that sold their 08 blue 250 w/ Yosh exhaust, lowered w/ 4k miles for $2800 about 4 weeks ago.

  5. What's a tire that has a good balance of performance and mileage? I had BT016s before and they seemed like they would last about 1 riding season. I think I got them in June last yr and they probably would have lasted til about June of this yr.

  6. ha i dont know how many ppl got it and how many ppl didnt. ATM, in the context of networking stands for, Asynchronous Transfer Mode. It has nothing to do with ATMs, Automated Teller Machines, necessarily, let alone being interchangeable terms. I thought it was funny that my classmate used Asynchronous Transfer Mode and Automated Teller Machines interchangeably.

  7. One of my classmates has this intelligent thought about ATM networks when asked about pros/cons and why they never lived up to its early expectations.

Now ATM's was designed to be extremely scalable. It can support link speeds of T1/E1 to OC-12 and higher. I guess that why it works fast when you go to different ATM machines and they send the money fast.

    :nono:

  8. Who has a spindle nut (AKA castle but) tool? I need it to removed the swingarm pivot bolt. I need 32mm. I'd rather not have to take the time to make one, so let me know if you have one or if you know where I can get one TODAY! NAPA only has gigantic ones in stock (2-2.5") Looks like this:

Here's a pic of the nut (may not work):

  9. see:

    http://www.ohio-riders.com/showthread.php?t=40595

35 Motorsports is a couple of miles from my house and I'm there weekly at least. Can get down there anytime.

If you pay for the powder and the blasting, I'll powdercoat anythign free of charge.

Two swingarms and assorted parts would need about 2 lbs of powder (maybe less) and that's about $30 with shipping included.

Blasting would run another $20 or so. I can have the blasting done here and get it back within a couple of days.

Order powders here: www.ColumbiaCoatings.com and have them sent to me, that way there's no shipping of powders on your part.

My large oven is a 36" cube, so anything that will fit in there is okay to send.

hm cool. I PM'ed STT-Brian to find out more details. I'd need 4 passenger pegs (2 are painted black, 2 are powdercoated a glossy black), 4 rearsets (2 are painted black, 2 are powdercoated a glossy black), 2 shifter arms (1 is painted black, 1 is powdercoated a glossy black), 2 swingarms, linkages and dogbones and all associated hardware blasted and powdercoated flat black. 2lbs of powder is enough?

    And you disassemble pegs right?
