  1. Thanks for all of the info guys! Dude just came by my desk, trying to "sell me" on the pup. I told him that I think that when the time comes, I'm just going to adopt and be done with it...
  2. Happy Birthday OG... Like Rocky, I got you a present too... However, you may want to take an antibiotic after unwrapping her.
  3. I'm sayin Ricky Ross... As much as I like you (Don't think that we've met), I dunno if I'm benevolent enough to break myself of 1k, and just hand the pup over... How about I make you an investor. You buy it, pay for food, shots, vet visits, training etc... And I'll keep him at MY house, and walk him and such. I'll send you updates, complete with pics. It's like sponsoring a pup, and you don't even have to listen to Sally Struthers!!!
  4. Yeah, he told me that the c-section was done for $400. Says his wife won't take less than $1K for the dog. Yota: I troll petfinder and the franklin co. rescue site on a near-daily basis.
  5. Tomcat: Cool dog. Ironically, my college roommate and I had a Savannah Monitor named Anubis! Yota: I've been thinking about dog rescue as well. As a matter of fact, the doggy fever re-surfaced after seeing a Shiba Inu a couple of years ago that I wanted to rescue, but I travelled too much for work to ever be able to take care of one. Zorro: Thanks. I'm going to weigh the options some more this week, and if I decide to get one, then I may swing through to check out yours. Sorry to hear that the dog's having issues.
  6. Thanks man. Yeah, I'm a huge fan of the Dog Whisperer series (show anyway... Haven't read any of the books yet). I looked into the PetSmart program 2yrs. ago when I was thinking about getting a pup. I will keep the vet office in mind if I decide to purchase. What about health insurance for pets. I've read a little about this... Do you think that it would be a waste of money? I've heard mixed reviews from dog owners.
  7. I live in Short North. Dude want's a grand for the dog, which is close to what my friend in DC paid for his. As far as training is concerned, I would imagine that I'd have to consult professional help as this would be my first dog, and I'm already factoring that cost into the "doggy spreadsheet", along with other items as I come up with them.
  8. Really quick: My co-worker's dog just had a litter of English Bulldogs. He kept them with their champion parents for 8 weeks, and now they're eating solid food, dumping outside (sometimes), and ready to sell. They've had their shots, and have been de-wormed. I'm interested in scooping one up, but am trying to gather as much info. as possible, not to mention I'd also be looking for a good vet in the Columbus area. Any bulldog owners/vets out there who can give me some advice on things to prepare for, as well as a reasonable price to pay? Thanks
  9. I will not promise Use Lubriderm or Jergen's ? Ha funny indeed
  10. But that's expected of you... Not me:lol: The Jergen's comment almost made me spill coke on my desk (COLA that is!)... However, I prefer Lubriderm... Been hooked ever since that ad campaign with the chick and the alligator!!! Wait: I love a chick's mouth I prefer the lubriderm I want lotion girl!
  11. My bad for that line My brain just goes to gutter I want Frosted Flakes (Seriously, didn't mean to get all NC-17 with the Haiku) LOL
  12. Don't run to border Consume sashimi instead D@mn I need sum head...
  13. Quoted for sushi Quoted for bangin' b*tches Quoted for cold beer
  14. I had a similar problem last year. If you have a power commander, check the cable going to the neg. terminal. A loose connection, or wire damage (as was my case), will yield the aforementioned results. Other than that, check your fuel pump. When you turn on the bike, if it sounds weak when it "primes" (and you batt. is strong/new as you stated), it could be on its way out. Along with the fuel pump, your fuel filter could also be heavily clogged... If it is a pump/filter prob. let me know as I have an extra fuel pump that we could work with. Good luck!
  15. D@mn Nick! I guess I need to remove my EPC sticker now! LOL
  16. D@mmit WhoDey... I'm out of town the 20th, and my Mum's going to be here on the 26th...
  17. Used the suzuki stuff on my 1st bike, and my rear wheel, swingarm, and exhaust looked like hot-buttered azz!!! That stuff flung everywhere! Now I'm ALL ABOUT some Motorex Chain Cleaner 611, and Honda chain lube.
  18. Quoted for sheer hilarity! Vulcan, I also believe that you have a valid argument, and perhaps you should notify the station if you feel compelled to do so.
  19. It's still a little too early for me to tell if I'll be able to make it or not, but I REALLY wanna be there this year!
  20. Only if you were intoxicated with the head of an underage prostitute in your lap, whilst making said U-Turn in a stolen Prius
