  1. My biz partner back in DC is looking to get a venture off of the ground, and we need someone who can design a quality site for us that can be operational by EOM May. Please feel free to post up, and PM me with quotes. Thanks!
  2. True confession: Each year, at the 1st P.T.A. (Parent Teacher Association) meeting, the lady that gave birth to me would tell my teachers that they had my parents' permission beat me if I acted up, and if they were afraid, one of my parents would leave work to come "take care of me"... Looking back, I don't think that my Mum MISSED an OPPORTUNITY to whup my azz!
  3. When I read this, my first thought was seeing Nick wearing a condom under his helmet to keep his ears warm... I LOL'd
  4. You laugh, but I actually had someone do that to me once. Kinda scary when approaching a corner and the bike keeps trying to track "straight" Needless to say, a hearty lecture ensued... Waste of time as it was her last ride with me anyway.
  5. I don't know of any good "fixes", as I'd probably just err on the side of caution and replace it. You could easily get a replacement chain and front/rear sprockets for around $200; maybe less.
  6. Really sorry to hear that Carrie. My prayers are with you and your family. Just try to find strength, joy, and courage through your pain; and continue to hope for the best.
  7. Looks like I'm FINALLY going to be able to make it this weekend:dj:
  8. DoneDeal. MJ likes it, so it's GOLDEN like Showers:D
  9. What about the LAST weekend in May (i.e. Sat.5/30)? It's practically June, kids will still be in school (although it's a weekend so that wouldn't matter too much), enough advance notice for ppl to request time off (30-ish days). It may be a lil' cool, but hopefully not cool/wet enough to crap on a good tyme. Let's get some O.R Long-sleeved Tees printed up (insulated for tropical cats such as myself), and hit the park! Feedback?
  10. I've seen quite a few over the years. They are usually in rotation in SPEED. You will especially notice them during AMA, WSBK, and even Moto GP events.
  11. I had this problem 3mos. after I purchased my bike. As it turned out, my air filter was filthy. Upon deceleration (like approaching a light), it would run crappy and sputter like it was going to shut off... Then it would shut off, and my FI light would come on. It would be worth it check/clean/replace your filters while you're checking everything else.
  12. My bad love... I'll be sure to "try your taters" the next time that they are available for public consumption.
  13. If it BELONGS to me... It GOES with me.
  14. Looks like you all had a good time! Sorry that I had to dip out sooo early, however I had a blast hanging out with the group as always! Moose: Thanks for putting this together. Cooks: Thank you all for the delicious morsels that I had the pleasure of sampling whilst there... NOW POST MORE PICS!!!! Thank You:D
  15. Where's Putty with that one R.Kelly gif when you need it:wtf:
  16. I concur with ALL of the PSAs in this thread: Gear, Practicing E-Braking and evasive maneuvers, and PAYING ATTENTION. All that aside, may the rider RIP, and GodSpeed to the rider's family/friends.
  17. Eva Longoria has that type of un-characterized beauty which strikes you from within and compels one to see forever in her eyes upon first glance... Happy-Ever-After material... Consummate winner. Eva Mendes has that "Drae, tell Eva Longoria that you'll be away on business for an extra week and meet me Brasil for a 7-day excursion" look about her... She's winning too! Meanwhile, I can't win for losing! J/K:D
  18. Are they iridium plugs? If so, then no. Iridium plugs come gapped to spec already.
  19. Hookers are divine; Mich. State has been playing EXTREMELY well this season. However, being from VA/DC I'm going with the "close to home" team.
  20. I had a blast at the DynoDay with you guys. Thanks to WhoDey, Carrie, Mandie, Brian, and everyone else who planned and executed the event! Also, thanks to John for coming through and helping me get my clutch sorted out. If it wasn't for him, I'd probably still be in the garage hurling wrenches at the wall.
  21. Even though I instigated this thread, a few min. ago, I took a break from putting my bike back together; I went inside to find that my g/f's hot water heater exploded, and I'm gonna be cleaning/moving stuff all nite. Long story short, I can't see myself making it to the meet-up spot by 11:30. I will see you all at DynoDay!!!
  22. I understand where you're coming from. That's why I picked Tuttle because it's closer to where I'm going to be. Since we will ultimately wind up at the same location (at roughly the same time), I don't see anything wrong with having more than one meet-up. That way, riders can choose the locale most convenient to them, and not have to ride alone (unless they want to). Then we can all fellowship when we get there. So if you want to do it that way, I can edit the first post and add that as an alternative to Tuttle.
