Tpoppa
I like everything except the suspension. Maybe they'll have a higher spec version like the Street Triple R. Edited June 12, 2013 by Tpoppa
speedytriple
Me likey. Looks like i found a triple to replace my triple.
JackFlash
>> Yamaha’s FZ8 is being discontinued... That was quick. And with less than 850 CC's, calling it an FZ-09is a bit of a stretch. It's expected to get 150+ milesto a tankful, with a 3.7 gallon fuel tank. 115hp @ 10,500rpm I'm interested in seeing one when they come out. . speedytriple
To bad my old triple has no after market support anymore.
ReconRat
Same class as the 919. Naked standard. Same torque, 5 more horsepower. One less cylinder and one less gallon in the tank. Under 400 pounds dry would be amazing.
smccrory
Please pardon my ignorance but is a chain drive typical for this class?
jlhsv
The more info I find on this the more I want one.

Revelstoker
Pretty cool but styling is ick. IMO, they should have resurrected the Radian name. Pricing is also telling. With Honda moving the bar down with the nc700x, Yamaha has responded as well. Can we be so lucky with $13-$25k bikes a thing of the past? It is interesting that the bike is over 100hp as these types of bike are usually targeted towards Europe and I thought Europe was moving towards a 100hp cap. It is going to be interesting to see what Yamaha does with this motor in the coming years. http://www.asphaltandrubber.com/news/european-commission-horsepower-limit-law/ Edited June 13, 2013 by Revelstoker

Tpoppa
I'll have to read some reviews. If it handles anything like the Street Triple it will be on my short list.
ReconRat
Europe could cap the horsepower electronically. And still have a bit higher for other markets.
smashweights
Seems like Yamaha is making clones of other companies marquee bikes lately. This cloning the Speed Triple and the Bolt cloning the Sportster
