Just Going To Toss This Out There- Convicted Sex Offender Again Found With Child Porn

So the thinking is we can rehabilitate this creeps right?  I'm so tired of reading about cases like this, which we actually had in my neighborhood 3 years ago.  Sex offender moved into his brothers house, who had 2 young children, 1 of each sex, and a wife.  As soon as dude moved in I let my wife know and hung the picture on the fridge.  I was on NH on vaca when she was walking my dog, dude starts talking to her from his brothers front porch, trying to get her to come in, and then telling her he knows where she lives, and he can come over later.  She explained about me being out of town and our dog being very protective, meanwhile dog is having knibshit and showing how protective he is(good dog). 

 

So she walks away etc. and leaves it at that but tells me the story that night.  I tell her to go look at the fridge and sure enough it was that guy.  When I got home I walked down to the surrounding neighbors houses, all of whom have very young kids and explained what happened and warned them.  I did not confront the sex offender or his family, but I did also tell the local police department about it and they filed a report.

 

A few weeks/months later I found out from my neighbor who works at the OSHP that the guy was caught by one of the neighbors I had warned, doing dirty things at the window while watching their young daughter or son, whichever, doesn't matter.

 

My issue is, how many times are we willing to let things like this happen?  Who know's what dudes next step may have been.  As far as I am concerned other than people who commit rape, and even then, these people are the lowest and should be killed right away.  I'm talking no holds bar executiong style, bullet to the head.  Simple, cheap, effective.

Luckily I wasn't there when it happened so I had several days to destress and discuss things with the GF/now wife.  She told me she didn't feel threatened at the time as he was a little smuck, and she knew the dog would handle him, and then she would, but yes, had I been there and it happened that day, I don't know how I would have reacted, but I doubt I'd be a free man.

both my folks were shrinks- both published, both successful, one a court appointed cuya county (part time for them, full time private practice) they BOTH said adamantly those people can not be "fixed", you can't castrate or lobotomize them and stop those urges anymore than I can not want a donut by going to classes or getting shock therapy. A stretch in prison often builds anger, resentment and the next time they play on their feelings  its often increasingly violent, or perverse. 

Predators....well.....well well.... When life in prison finally means "life" in prison...I'll quit thinking the way I do about alternatives.

One day I saw a man standing at the end of my BACK garden looking at my son who was about 4 or 5 at the time.  The area he was standing was right on the line between my property and an area of swampy wasteland.  I walked out into the garden to get a closer look and once the guy saw me step out the door he set off running towards a building that is owned by the same person who owns the wasteland.  A check on familywatchdog identified that an employee of the business there was a registered child sex offender.

 

I don't believe that child sex offenders* can be rehabilitated.  Life in prison is the only reasonable course of action.

 

 

(* = I make a huge distinction between a grown person who victimizes a prepubescent child versus a case in which the "victim" and "offender" are close to the same age and in a consensual relationship)

Yeah I agree with your comments at bottom, like there was a 28yr old teacher who just had a 16yr old kids baby, I know that's a big age gap, BUT let's be real here, the boy (16) knew what he was doing.

 

No, kanibshit may be how its spelled, flipping out, going nuts, etc.  I think conniption means the same thing, so could be connipshit?  I dunno, lol, not even sure it's a true word.

Yeah that is it, but that isn't the word I was trying to use.  It's different.  Like I said it might be a word that is made up, its in the urban dictionary as connipshit and also kanipshit.  So not really a word, but we used it growing up for flipping out, hysteria, etc.

Don't rehabilitated drug addicts say, they are addicts for life?  They always have the desire to abuse, in the back of their mind.  I imagine the same is true with sex-offenders, but even more-so.

 

I used that website that tells you where sex offenders are in your neighborhood.  I got disgusted and quit.  They are EVERYWHERE!  Best thing to do is arm your loved ones.  Arm them with knowledge.  Arm them with steel.

I definitely don't see eye to eye with the middle east. With that said, there may be a place for stoning. There needs to be a consequence so dire that there is a significant penalty for performing such a heinous crime. As stated above, leaving a perpetrator alone with the victims family is also a reasonable and justifiable sentence.

Exactly,  I mean wtf, it isn't rocket science, just a little common sense.   Point blank, if my brother, sister, parents, ever were a sex offender to the point of a child, I would kill them.  My parents are aware of how I feel about that, so is my wife.  If something ever went down with any of them, it's game over.  I will spend my time in prison, or dead, but knowing that they won't hurt anyone else is worth it.   Granted, that won't happen as they are all not psycho, I am just saying.

I have a relative, he's in his 60s I think, that got busted by an undercover agent posing as a 12 year old girl in a chat room. As far as I know he sent pictures of "himself". He's now in some federal pen in Georgia or somewhere. I'll never have contact with him again. Not sure what his sentence is but I think he's been in for like 4 years so far. I hate thinking I'm related to him...

Edit. He's 69 and set to get out in 2019. Fort Dix NJ, low security prison.

When I was 15 I was sexually abused (the laws definition) by a 32 year old woman for about 4 months her husband was a truck driver and never home I mowed her lawn and she would sun bathe in her back yard in a little bathing suit at first then topless after that thing progressed fast from there by the end of the summer I was over her house every day. Somehow my mother found out and had a talk with her and ended my joy ride. I knew exactly what was going on and loved every second of it. That was the best summer of my youth the only drawback I have now is that I’m attracted to big breasted soccer moms. Should this woman be in prison or dead? Hell NO. Is there a difference between a 15 year old boy and a 15 year old girl I would have to say Yes  I was in it for the sex girls get in to it for love and can get mislead.

I think the sexual predator law needs to be refined you can be put on the list for taking a leak in a ditch. There is a lot of grey area with it. You can have a 14 year old girl dating a 17 year old boy that the parents do not like when he turns 18 the parents can file charges on him and have him arrested but one day earlier there was nothing they could do about it what really changed?

Yeah I don't have issues with things like that really, plenty of 15 yr olds and younger are having happy time now adays, I was talking more of the pervs as you referenced.  Sorry if I wasn't clear with that.

It's more prevalent that we want to believe.  20 years ago at a family gathering I was talking to a family friend (who was always invited to these gatherings) when my cousin walked past - she said hi and continue on her way.  The FF said; "Do you want her first?  I don't mind sloppy seconds."

 

She was 8.

 

I told him to fuck off and went to talk with the girl's parents.  He was asked to leave and we never saw him again at any more family gatherings.

 

Think of how many people out there are keeping that stuff inside.

 

I do understand that human males have instincts that have programmed us to respond to female "sexual signifiers" like boobs, butt, hips, waist etc.  If you have a girl who's underage but fully developed then I don't judge anyone for being attracted to them.  Having said that, society demands we keep instincts in check - whether it's the urge to f*ck jailbait,  have sex with women we shouldn't, beat up people we don't like or steal things from other people that we want, so the "instinct" argument does not extend to actually doing anything about that attraction.  Maintain the moral standards required by society and you're good.  Cross the line and you go to jail.

 

Now, as to folks who are attracted to pre-pubescent children...  Brazen Bull.  Google it.
