Hoblick
i guess its only gonna be on the ultra, triglide, and CVO electraglide.. as they found know where else but the lower leg fairings to be able to stuff radiators?http://www.cycleworld.com/2013/08/20/2014-harley-davidson-project-rushmore-first-look-review-photos/?src=SOC&dom=fb

Hoblick
I watched the video they have on their site introducing "the new revolutionary models". Laughable. Same shit diffrent day.The added a linked braking system (that was only done about 30 years ago by the japanese)Touchscreen nav/bluetooth/stereo ( bmw and honda have done it fir years now)Liqiud cooling (ummm no need to explain)Split stream fairing/windscreen ( thats been around for ages)So whats new and revolutionary? How about better suspension, better motor mounts so the swingarm isnt just loosely attached directly to the unbalanced motor, how about shave some weight off, better ground clearance, and REAL brakes that will stop a 950lb bike ( you know with full floating rotors)
Tpoppa
I am sure all of this 'yesterday' technology will have 'tomorrow' pricing.

Only shiddy riders need thoseTouchscreen? Witchcraft.. burn them at the stakeLiquid Cooling? Water is for toilets... Harley has what bikers crave...Split Stream Fairing? What is this a motorcycle or a car? windscreens and helmets are for wimps.Floating rotors? what should we make them out of life preservers?

Revelstoker
Only thing going to save Harley next year is that Polaris missed the pricing on the Indians and they let the Vicotory guys get too close to the touring model with that F'ed up fairing. Had theVintage Chief come out under $20k vs. the $24k that they are asking, Harley would have a hard time pushing this stuff.

Tpoppa
This sounds like a half-assed liquid cooling attempt... According to Harley PR, “Twin cooling cools the heads around the exhaust ports to deliver at or near peak performance under all operation conditions and temperatures.” This is achieved via a small 1.1 quart liquid-cooling system that routes through the downtubes to discreet radiators housed in the lower fairing louvers. Tpoppa
Oh, and stop bailing them out of bankruptcy. I'd like to see them go away. http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/568/8613/Motorcycle-Article/Harley-Davidson-Loaned--2-3-Billion-from-Fed.aspx Maybe then they'd be forced to build better bikes to stay afloat...just saying. magley64
Maybe then they'd be forced to build better bikes to stay afloat...just saying. What?!?! Harley makes and sells more motorcycles every year than Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, Kawasaki, BMW, Triumph, and Ducati Combined...Everybody knows that... JohnG
Linked Brakes With ABS When the linked system is active, braking force is applied to both wheels if either brake is applied Wow. Some HD riders are going to think the brakes are WAY better now... especially the ones who think the front brake is only for keeping them from rolling backward at inclined stops. Connie14
Wow. I wonder if someone will tell HD about some other groundbreaking projects. I hear a couple of brothers named Wright are experimenting with flight.

blue03636
Can they make one that does the speed limit? I'm tired of being stuck behind them doing 10 under.
ReconRat
bikes in India are fully made in USA and assembled in India? Wut?About the only parts made in the USA are the frame and the engine castings...Everything else is shipping in or out to Brazil for assembly.Add India to that list. Oddly, the Honda 919 was made in Italy. Assembled there. Edited August 23, 2013 by ReconRat
