Got a new Stihl for christmas.  MS250.

Not a pro unit, but should be perfect for what I need it for.

The one in top in the second pic is my mid 90's McCulloch Timber Bear.

It is a 55cc power head with a 20" bar and needs the carb cleaned.  Runs good otherwise and has a good chain.  It is for sale.

Feel free to post up a pic of your badass or POS saw.

Congrats!!!  That is a great saw...I have the same one as well.  I have had it about 10 years now come to think of it.  I did have my local dealer put the better chain on it to make it a meat eater!!!  I have not had any real trouble with it.  I cut a lot of wood every year to burn in the wood stove.  I sometimes wish it had a bigger bar on it.

My Dad has a McCullough and cannot get carburator parts for it.  Runs like a dog without it.  Actually cannot use it at all.

I forget which exact model he has, but I spent quite a while looking for it online and had no luck. It was a model that was not made very much and I even emailed one place and they couldn't get it.

This is a pretty handy site for finding old saw part numbers and models.

Nice saw. Stihls are great saws. I have been heating my house 90% with wood for the last 7 winters cutting all the wood with a MS270 that I bought new. It has cut a ton of wood and is on its 3rd bar. It still runs great. My boy started cutting last fall with my MS180 and I wanted a saw with more power so I gave him the 270 and I bought a MS362. Right after I bought it the weather turned to crap and have not got to use it. This spring its going to get a good work out the wood supply is taking a real hit this winter.
