jaymanthree
Willing to negotiate a bit or take partial trades, etc. Thanks for looking. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
bowdog
Nice truck at a good price, this should sell quick. Hell if I had somewhere to park it I would buy and use as a back and forth camp truck. GLWS
redkow97
LBTS. GLWS. but really, that's probably the most economical way to transport 2 bikes any serious distance. I know people who never owned a trailer, because one of them had the long-bed regular cab F150 for work. They always talked about getting a trailer, but they were living in NJ, so storing it would have been a major issue, and the ridiculous tolls every time they pulled an extra axle was the other issue... Gixxus Christ!
My brother may want this. Will talk to him sunday. How are the rear leaf spring mounts? Every Ford pickup I've owned from that era had rotten shackles and brackets. Edited February 7, 2014 by CrazySkullCrusher
jaymanthree
Shackles and mounts are original and not rotted off. I can send a detailed pic of each side when I get off work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
jaymanthree
Note: that is not a crack in the shackle just what's leftover of the ford paint.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
jaymanthree
If your interested in having them replaced I'm an ASE cert. tech. and would be more than willing to work something out for replacement. Gixxus Christ!
Lol, those are easy. Grind off the shop ends of the rivets, burn out the old bushing if it's fucked, press a new one in with a few sockets, some all thread, wd40 and an impact and bolt it all up. Done em on every Ford truck I've ever owned.
jaymanthree
Sounds like your ready for another one. Come on out and drive her home. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Gixxus Christ!
Hell no. I commute 120 miles a week or more. My last truck cost me $75 a week to go to work and back.
jaymanthree
It's all good, my commute is 300 mi/wk. although I don't use my truck for commuting. There are far better machines for that. Trucks are for hauling shit. Let me know if your cousin might be interested though. Thanks. Bad324
Hell no. I commute 120 miles a week or more. My last truck cost me $75 a week to go to work and back. This makes me happy that I don't incur costs on my truck. In gas alone it would be 2.5x that a week:(The OP's truck is a damn good deal. I wish this had been a few weeks earlier otherwise I would've bought it (even if it's a Ford) for my company cause we needed a new yard truck

speedytriple
I do 360 a week just for work. If my truck/camper combo sells i might be interested in it. Unless you want a 2000 triumph in trade?
Gixxus Christ!
I'd like to have a truck again for when I need a truck but that's only a few times a year.
speedytriple
What im thinking. A trade for the bike would work. I only need a truck a few times a year. The one i have now has over 293k miles on it.could use a new truck.
