Speedy Gonzales
Note: My bike has less than 200 miles on it. So I couldn't find the gas tank prop and left a message for my dealer that I couldn't find it. He responded to me and said that he checked with Suzuki and the Hayabusa does not come with a gas tank prop.My previous Gen I Busa had a prop in the rear tail. Why would they stop putting one in? So I call Suzuki and talk to a rep who says he'll check and call me back. He left me a voicemail stating that the Hayabusa DOES come with a tank prop (a 10" rod) that goes in the tail. Now this has become a pissing match and it is making me really mad! Sales rep is adamant that the GenII Busa does NOT come with a tank prop. I have a recorded voice mail from a Suzuki rep and he has the nerve to adamantly keep saying that he talked to Suzuki and the 2013 Hayabusa does not come with a prop. WTF! For a $12 rod this guy is lying to my face! Now my OCD is kicking in and I have to get it out of him even if it means kidnapping his kids! Speedy Gonzales
What dealer? I'd like to give him one last chance before I post his name publicly. He's in the northwest.
HomeSlice
For $12 it is totally worth getting pissy about, letting it raise your blood pressure, and cause anxiousness in your life. Just sayin.
Tigerpaw
Sales Rep is probably relying exclusively on a computer database.
JohnG
I got ripped off for a 16 dollar face shield by a "dealer"... Fifth Avenue Cycle in Columbus. I let it go, but it took awhile. ;-/

Tpoppa
CBRs don't come with tool kits anymore. But you can buy it for about $100.

JackFlash
It won't let me post the parts diagram. The part number is the same for each item. . Edited April 19, 2014 by JackFlash

Speedy Gonzales
Ok let's get something clear here people. It's not the price of the part. For crying out loud I just bought a $15k bike. The issue is the principle. If I sell you something I better know what I am selling you. And if I feed you all the bullshit about how I take care of my customers after the sale too, then I better man up and stand behind my words. Really gets me worked up when someone tries to piss on my leg. Quite simple in my books - you have every right to be an asshole, but then, be prepared to get shit smeared all over you! Speedy Gonzales
Let's get something more straight. Seems as though your salesman knows his shit and your rep doesn't. Now, a smart person would have sold you a lift from a 2012, but you'd bitch because there is no place to secure it on your $15k bike.Today's lesson? Don't spend $15k on a Japanese bike. And spend 15k on an American bike? Last I checked I could spend my money on anything I felt like.

Helmutt
I say if the part means that much to you, walk in there and speak with the fella that sold you the bike and elate the importance of it in person. It's probably in stock, if not then it's something they could easily swipe from a bike in the showroom to re-establish your happy customer status Or.....trade it on a ZX14 for instant, complete, satisfaction
