redkow97
Only nice if she never wants to work in broadcasting again. Pot can be profitable, but I don't see how her advocacy group will be.
shadyone
Heard on the radio she could get up to $500,000 fine for this since it was preplanned. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

JustinNck1
Here's an explanation of the rules. I work in the cable industry and FCC doesn't mess around. Most likely going to be a fine against the network, not the news anchor. http://www.fcc.gov/guides/obscenity-indecency-and-profanity
ScubaCinci
All networks have dump buttons...not sure why it wasn't pressed. That's probably why they are holding the station responsible because they didn't do their due diligence to prevent it from airing.
redkow97
All networks have dump buttons...not sure why it wasn't pressed. I don't believe this is universally true. In a setting where they're taking live calls, or if they're out in public where a random idiot could yell something in the background, that is probably the case. But in a studio setting where only paid on-air personalities are meant to be on camera, I don't think they do the typical delay.
redkow97
sounded to me like SHE could because she had been planning it.. even if she can't, I would expect the network to sue her to recover anything they're fined. Same reason though. it wasn't an accident.
