Bubba
If you're asking about the G42, only info I've seen on this is: http://thegunwriter.blogs.heraldtribune.com/15882/more-glock-42-problems-reported/ and some minor issues with being finicky on loads: http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2014/02/daniel-zimmerman/gun-review-glock-42/ "That means no problems at the range, right? Well, not exactly. While GLOCKs have the well-earned reputation for being able to shoot virtually anything you can cram in a magazine, that’s decidedly not the case with the G42. The babiest GLOCK has some very specific ideas about what it will and won’t eat. As some other shooters have already found, the vast majority of rounds work just fine. But heavier, higher pressure rounds and even some lighter stuff might as well be steamed brussels sprouts as far as the G42 is concerned." "So it would seem that the 42’s recoil spring is rather tightly wound, so to speak. Meaning as long as your ammo of choice would please Goldilocks – not too hot and not too cold – you’ll have no problems at all. While GLOCK has had, well, difficulties with new springs in the past, the G42’s finicky nature doesn’t seem to be nearly as problematic."
smccrory
PM me if you're selling the Kahr because you had feed issues. Lots of guys on the KahrTalk forums found that a few basic prep steps made that gun everything they wanted. I did the same to my CM45 and it made all the difference in the world. Also if you're not dead-set on a G42 or Shield, I can't speak highly enough about 2nd gen Ruger LCPs. Lighter (12 oz AUW) and much thinner than the G42 and very accurate within 35 feet. Lots of great concealment options for 'em too.
kawi kid
Had one in class two weeks ago and I have never been so frustrated for a student in my life. She took it well. I was pissed.

Bad324
I've not experienced many feed issues. Mainly it's just on the heavy side to pocket carry. I like it but also am bored so wouldn't mind trying something new
kawi kid
From what I'm gathering with the 42 is you need to use 95 or higher grain rounds to make it function properly.

Sniper_308
I've never had a single issue with my Glock 42. I've ran all kinds of ammo through it, too. I've heard GLOCK has made some updates to their 42's. I happen to have the updated model. Follow the link below for the list of upgrades. http://looserounds.com/2014/05/10/glock-appears-to-have-made-changes-to-the-g42/

smccrory
Anyway... the CM9 (like the PM9) is VERY well liked in Kahr circles for their accuracy and firepower-to-weight ratio. They seem to be a great choice for someone looking for a thin, lightweight CC gun that's stronger than a .380.
TimTheAzn
+1 for the possibility of limp wristing. The only time my Glock(s) ever had an issue is when my buddy's dad and his baby wrists shot my 26 and 19.
