The "race" version of Alpinestars' new line of Nucleon armor, the Alpinestars Nucleon KR-R back protector is designed to specifically be used in Alpinestars race suits or jackets with snap-in back protection, however this could work in any other track suit just as well.

CE level 2 certified, the KR-R back protector is lighter and more comfortable than the old Bionic series back protector by using a hybrid of hard-shell and memory foam.

The waist belt is elastic and adjustable using heavy-duty velcro allowing you to move the belt to a more comfortable position.
