That walk will be fine. No good bars between that I'm aware of. Closest you have is walking down E 9th towards the stadium and there is a Panninis, thirsty parrot, Clevelander (my old favorite), City Tap and probably 1 or 2 others I don't remember off hand That's a pretty good hike though I think

West 6th has no class, just alcohol, yeah.

As for Barley House... a couple months ago, about 20 of us at work ate there over the course of a month or so, and we ALL had our credit card #'s stolen and used out-of-state.  Turns out Barley House or whatever got hacked :p

Yeah... it might be right across the street, but we don't eat there anymore.

Did the police confirm that they got hacked?  It's much easier for shady employees to take card numbers than for hackers to intercept the encrypted data and then decipher it into a useable format...

Looks like we better get good and tight on the boat and lay in some beer and booze at the room then...

No, and the credit card company wasn't allowed to tell me officially who it was, either.  But I asked if it was them (Everyone in the office figured out what had happened long before the CC companies did).    All the CC rep could tell me was that they'd received information saying cards had been compromised.  There were a couple of waves... I wasn't in the first wave of my coworkers who got hit, so I was hoping I'd be skipped.
