Damnit, this is what I need but no truck yet to tow it.

This is a good deal, Tim.  Start pricing those 5 X 10's

and see what I mean.  I'm towing a 5 X 10 with my

4 cyl Subaru, but my trailer is pretty light.  Snag the

trailer now and figure out how to tow it later.  There

is always a way even if you have to get someone to

tow it for you.

I asked my buddy if I could borrow his jeep. Seriously thinking of this since I plan on buying a truck in the near future...for this exact purpose. If all goes well, I'll be hitting the track pipe often next season.

How are the tires/ bearings? When was the last time they were re-packed?

Jack is right. Do it and get the baxley with it too, makes trailering SO easy. you won't regret it

All it took me was watching @what put his bike in his Baxley and I was sold lol. My buddy said I could borrow his jeep...

Do all the lights work? Clean and clear title? Tires/Bearings in good shape? Last time they were packed with grease?

I may get this, this weekend.

HAH! Hey, this could mean a couple things.

1. You'll never see me on the street again after the track pipe.

2. You will see me on the street, taking my bike off the trailer before a group ride

3. Trumpet turns dedicated track bike and I get an ST to ride with you bubbies.

Just do what I do, make it super inconvenient to actually use your trailer. It'll be like you don't even have one.

Don't you already have a ST sitting around gathering dust?

I actually got it out of my garage yesterday. It's in Jon's garage now.

Make sure you secure it very well.  Trailers are easy to steal.  They make

all sorts of locks for the coupler and get a hitch lock so no one steals your

tow bar, trailer, bike and all when it's hitched up and parked.  Put bearing

buddies on it and you will be in good shape.  I also have mine chained to a

tree with the heaviest chain and lock I could find.

Thank you for the advice. At home, it will be in my garage. I will definitely get one of those locks and will look into bearing buddies.
