hiro
My wife is taking a geocaching trip to Tennessee over the Labor Day weekend. She wants to use the Tail of the Dragon as a shortcut in a CRV to shave 3 hours off her travel time. Question is, how safe would that be as far as not having sport drivers and riders flying by her and trucks blocking the road? heh

And please ask her to signal and use the pull offs and she will be thanked by all riders. Trucks for the most part stay away but you never know when some dumb shit that fails to read the truck warning signs and proceeds thru. Tell her to enjoy and talk smack about how she tamed the 129 Dragon!!😃 Edited September 3, 2020 by B-Mac
Wahoo
Follow B-Mac’s advice and she’ll be fine. And, she can get killboy Photos to prove she slayed the dragon. 👍 Edited September 3, 2020 by Wahoo
Tpoppa
How would that shave 3 hours? There's a few alternatives.

I guess I should get her travel plans just in case!

MSerfozo
I'm pretty sure the dragon has been closed to trucks for the last few years?
Wahoo
They were banned but several times each week you still see one on killboy. If the police are up there, they escort them thru then ticket them at the end.
