looks like there was a storm. The breaking waves ont he shoreline constantly spraying the coastal area. Ass sub freezing temps and you got that.

No axe, just remove the pick and use it. The axe may drive it too deep (yes, it could amke it all the way down to the paint with a proper swing). Stab out the outline of your door. Eventualy you will get the door open. Then tart the car, heat on high. Before long htere will be a layer of water between the glass and the ice. grab the point of hte pick and tap on the ice with the round edge, the ice will crack and fall away.

Tires, use a hammer.
