Rally Red Evo
One, two, and four are of a Ternetzi Piranha. She is wild caught. Third is of my P. Nattereri or Red Bellies.

Guest stvbreal
I thought those looked like Piranha. In that case, Originally posted by Car Enthusiast: fish are lame get a real pet stick yer hand in the tank and see how lame those fish are. Joe
Sticking you hand in the tank will accomplish nothing but scarring the fish. Piranha are by nature very timid fish. I may be getting more, as a friend of mine has a tank of adults that cannot stop breeding!! smile.gif Do you have any photos of the tank and setup at all? At the moment I have an Albino Tiger Oscar, comically named Daniel Carver. I had a Tiger Oscar also, but the Albino killed it. I am going to re-establish my 55 bow front as either the new piranha tank or as a feeder tank.

I am going to re-establish my 55 bow front as either the new piranha tank or as a feeder tank. It depends on the fish how they act. My Tern is not very timid but she was also wild. I have 4 Piranha in a 75 and I would suggest you not go any smaller than a 75. I use to have 3 in a 55 and they out grew it within a year. In my 55 I now have a Spilo CF (Piranha) and he is not timid at all. All you have to do is put your finger by the glass and he will hit the glass. I also have to watch him whenever I do anything in the tank. Here's a pic. http://www.piranha-fury.com/photopost/data/500/313fish59.jpg
Joe
when mine were young they were not that timid, but became shy as they got older. I too had 4 in a 75, and it fit them fine. All were approximately 6-8" in length. As for my 55, I am not planning on four, but maybe two. They seem to do well in even numbers. I will be adding to my collection of tanks soon, as a 90 will be coming up for grabs for free smile.gif
Rally Red Evo
Don't get two. With two one will beat on the other and in the end one will die.
