Uh, no. Do you think Ferrari spends millions and millions of dollars on wind tunnel testing for their cars just so some joker slaps a big wing on the back for shits and giggles?

That is a large single palne wing, I am sure it was added for high speed rear stability. No matter what car you have it can still be tailored/tweaked for your specific needs.

Just as some people yearn for more power, some yearn for extended high speed runs. You can fix one problem with a PROPER DESIGNED turbo, the second you can fix with PROPERLY DESIGNED undertrays, splitters, difusers and large wings.

I get tired of everyone seeing a big wing and automatically classifying it as rice. There were large functional wings far before they were on Honda's.

Its a guy name Maximillion{forget his last name}. But he's a big shot in the gumball rally. I want to say he started it or something to that affect.

If you wanna see a "huge ricer wing" take a look at the old Chaparral 2E race car. That wing on the Ferarri could be the same one used on the 550R race car.

And the guys name is Maximilian Cooper. Just a rich guy with way too much money.

Yes that car was destroyed. I had a video of the crash. They were going 120 or so and rolled it. The passenger walked away with just a scratch or two, while the driver was unconscience for about 5 minutes. He walked away but went to the hospital to get stiches. Other than that they were fine. They attested their lack of injury to the 5 point harnesses and roll bar.
