RadDawg Posted June 20, 2005 Report Share Posted June 20, 2005 I had to take he wife's F-150 in to Graham for a bad brake light switch, with the extended warrantee I get a free rental, so they hook me up with a Focus. Since I had the day off and rental coverage, I spent the day seeing just how high you can rev a slushbox Focus by shifting manually. Those little 4-bangers will rev right out. I was impressed by how smooth the revs stayed right up until the fuel cutout kicked in. The p.o.s. tires just couldn't keep up, tho. Overall a pretty good stress reliever.
