My car got towed from campus, and when i went to pick it up, i found this. Im taking them to court on monday, and i plan to bash their buisness name into the ground as well as any money they DO have left.

DO NOT DO BUISNESS WITH MILLENNIUM TOWING.

1575 harrisburg pike, columbus OH 43223

Upon further investigation, I have found I am not the only one this has happened to, and theyre being taken to court by several people, and have had mutiple police reports filed against them. That, and their office is a fucking TRAILOR with white fucking trash inside watching TV and eating popcorn.

WATCH OUT FOR THIS COMPANY!

Sorry to hear about that, but I do have 2 questions.

1. Where is it that you parked illegally and had to be towed through the grass?

2. Do you have any witnesses with you at the time the car was parked to corroborate the fact that the damage was not pre-existing?

Park at own risk yes, but I belive when they touch/tow your car they are liable (sp) for any damage they do. Any one know the law on this?

This thread reminds me of people that speed and get caught. They always come on here and cry about how they are going to take someone to court, because they broke the law.

It sucks your car got damaged, but if you cared about it in the first place, why did you park it in the grass on campus? Buy a beater and drive it till it breaks.

uhh if you got caught speeding who would you take you court?? What you said doesn't make any sense.

anyway the tow truck company is liable for any damage that occurs while they towing your car. Proving they did it will be hard but I hope you win. The damage looks pretty extensive.

Word, if you park illegaly, too bad. they are not liable for damage to your car. the only thing you can do is crank the wheels, and hope they hit the car nextr to you if you want them screwed.

A ticket is proper punishment for a parking violation. Hundreds of dollars in body damage is bullshit, don't tell me you wouldn't want to sue the bastards if that was your car.

Sorry to hear about your car. The legality of your parking job is not in question, so I don't understand why people need to add that to the equation. Nowhere is it "park at your own risk" when you get towed, there is liability attached to any handling of other people's property.

I hear about horrible towing companies at every large school; entire websites are dedicated to them. Hopefully you can force them to cover your damages, but don't waste your money and time on bringing them down. Every towing service I've ever dealt with was shady and I would want as little to do with them as possible.

when you park the way you did there not responsible for you car. all tow companys are required to have a 600,000 dollar insurace policy. if your car fell off their wrecker and it got damaged and damaged property or someone elses car itll be covered.

tow companies do what they can to avoid damage on vehicles they are hooking, but when your parked illegaly whos fault is it?

Once again the maturity of this board shines like a star.

Im not looking for any of your sympothy. Im merely telling you to watch out for this towing company.

I talked to a lawyer, and they ARE liable for the damages they made on my car. Sorry to all those who think its "park at your own risk." If that were the case, the city would just blow your car sky high instead of wasting time towing it. For future reference.

Mekkahfire, maturity unfortunatly is not a strong suite for some of these people on this board, but myself having worked for AAA for 7 years in their ERS dept. the towing company in question is indeed liable for your damages, the witnesses' you have are going to be a large help, good luck.
